So excited!! **UPDATED***

Several months ago i booked our 2009 trip to WDW. Starting off with a 7 night western caribbean cruise. We asked all the family but they all said no apart from my parents. My Nan really wanted to go but for some reason my grandad said he didnt want to go on the cruise but they would meet us out in WDW after.

Anyway yesterday we had a BBQ round my house and we put on the disney dvd of our last trip where we did the 3night cruise. We had a few drinks and had a good time. This morning i got a phone call from my mum, apparently last night after they had gone home my grandad had got really upset. When my nan asked what was wrong he said "i think ive made one of the biggest mistakes of my life" and said that he really really wanted to do the cruise now. He was really upset that he'd never get to do the keys or grand cayman etc (He is 75 now). Anyway him and my nan were convinced that they wouldnt get on and that the cruise was fully booked. They have now gone away for a few days and are back on Saturday afternoon.As far as they know the cruise is fully booked and that they wont be coming on the cruise with us.

But it isnt full! And a few hours ago i have just booked them on the cruise in a Cat 6 stateroom near ours!!

We plan on going round Sat night with a bottle of champagne to "break the news"

Just thought i would update you all with how my grandparents "took the news!

What i decided to do was to create a dvd with a slideshow of some of the best pics from our last cruise - mostly ones with them in. The last picture was of thebig red banner that they roll out as everyone leaves the boat - it says see you again real soon. Then we did a couple of title pages that said -

I had them round mine for dinner, along with my parents. After dinner i went out into the garden to crack open the bottle of champagne.(didnt want them to hear the pop).

DH made some excuse to put the dvd on - saying e wanted their opinion on the ending and could they take a look. That meant they were sitting their paying atttention to it. Then as it got to the title slides me and my mum came out with the bubbly.

They didnt say anything for a few minutes - and then when they did it was through floods of tears. They kept saying are we really on it? have we really got a balcony room? To say they were excited would be an understatement.

Im just glad they are coming.......and that their stateroom is just that little bit further down the hall
