SO EXCITED about my Visa offer!!!!

It's a Disney gift card, so you can use it anywhere Disney.

That's awesome that they put in a request to their marketing dept b/c I had called prior to receiving my offer and was just told a flat no. They said I had to have an offer code and there was nothing they could do without one. Hopefully you'll get one! Mine was for the regular Visa so I didn't even have to pay the $49 annual fee. :) Of course, I don't get the 2% rewards with it, but that's okay b/c I have other credit cards w/ better rewards. In fact, figuring out what credit card to use in what situation is soon going to make my head spin! LOL Grocery store and gas = Amazon Visa for 2% back, anything online until the end of the year = Discover for 5% back, and everything else = Disney Visa until I reach my $20 in rewards. :crazy2:

Thanks for the info! I'll let everyone know what they say - I'm sure it will be a big fat no since I've already signed up for the card!

I know exactly what you mean about the rewards cards and figuring out which one to use when! I signed up for the Premier figuring I'd get the $51 statement credit by the time I paid the $49 annual fee, which would even out to the regular DV. Then I'd put my vacation on the card and get 6 months 0% financing, which may not be needed but is nice to have just in case. Then with the 2% back on the vacation that would give me about $60 right there. In the end I'd come out $111 ahead. Then between now and January I'm going to put almost everything on there in hopes of getting maybe another $40 (wishuful thinking). That would put me at $151 ahead, with $100 in my pocket for WDW!

Then before the next annual fee hits I'm going to downgrade to the regular DV so I won't pay any more annual fees. I've got an Amex and Mastercard that have much better reward options that are much more flexible so I'll go back to using those after the trip.

haha - all the planning to make the most out of a good deal!!!

You got it!! :thumbsup2 Now if I could just a FD PIN ...

I posted this on another thread but I've read that people have called and asked if they had a PIN associated with their household and found out that they did. I called like a month ago and asked and they said no.

However, yesterday I had to make a change to my reservation and the CM asked if I needed anything else so I said "I don't happen to have a PIN associated with my household do I?" I told her I doubt that I did but low and behold there was an RO PIN! I told her I'm glad I asked because I haven't received an email or postcard. She said she didn't know why some people don't get the offers - maybe they go to junk mail or get discarded by accident. However, I am 100% sure I did not accidentally discard the email/postcard and I always check my spam folder and I didn't get anything.

In the end it didn't end up saving us a ton from our p/s/d offer but we saved $72! I'll take it!

I don't think I got a full 35% dicount on the room though. I know with the GP offer our room category wasn't eligible for the 35% so that's why I booked the p/s/d. I need to go back and do the math though and see.

Good luck with the FD PIN!

I didnt even know about the offer and got it in the mailbox today.

$200 gift card, no annual fee.

But, it was in my maiden name but came to my current address. I've only ever been married at this address. Weird!

Yep, I've called and asked about a PIN but haven't had any. I'll keep trying though. My parents received a FD PIN, which is driving me crazy b/c I can't use it! :(

Congrats!! Well worth it, IMO, esp. if you apply for two!

That is frustrating! It'd be nice if they were at transferable to someone within your family! Nobody seems to know who gets PINs and who doesn't but I also wonder how they decide to give some people RO PINs and some FD PINs...what triggers the PIN and what PIN they got? I'm sure there's a crazy system somewhere figuring it all out!

Hopefully you get a PIN Before your trip though!!!

I know nobody knows the method to Disney pins...but I would really like it if they would spread some pixie dust on my email address.

I received the offer today for a $200 gift card w no annual fee on the visa. I wanted to sign my husband up for one as well, hoping for us both together the $200 gift cards after we spend the required $500 in 3 months. Can I use the same invitation number for him as I do for myself?

Yep, that's what I did. I don't know whether it matters but I did mine over the phone and his online. His didn't instantly approve, but rather said it needed further review or something like that. We were expecting an email shortly after but never received one. But then the card just showed up in the mail. I'm guessing it didn't process right away b/c the offer number had already been used once. Nowhere on the offer did it say one per household or anything like that, and it was addressed to our household rather than just one of us. So, yes, definitely apply twice with the same number.

Thank you. I am going to try it out! Mine was the same way, addressed to our household, not just to me. I am continually wishing they would send me a pin now!!!
