DD will celebrate 5th birthday the day after we arrive. I bought some gifts at the online disney store and paid for the gift wrapping. Two gifts, a plush mickey that sings happy birthday and an autograph book we'll place on the bed secretly when we arrive. I wrote to have in the card that they're from Mickey. I also ordered a gift wrapped Cinderella pin that I want the waitress to give her when we have her birthday dinner at 1900 PF (compliments of Cinderella herself). Someone mentioned that due to time constraints, the characters can't do this, so that's why I'll ask the waitress. Anyone else do anything like this? I was also considering ordering a cake at the Grand Floridian bakery and have them deliver it to the restaurant.

I'm soooooo excited! :cheer2:

Awww---- how fun!!! I can imagine you are excited!

We celebrated our DD's 6th bday at WDW. We have Cinderella leave trinkets in our hotel room every night during all of our Disney trips. The morning of her bday, DD woke up and found a personalized princess necklace left from her with her trinket.

During our stay, I arranged to have cakes delivered at all of our sit-down meals. Many of the restaurants gave her bday items (autograph mats, photos, etc). Make sure your DD wears her bday button. My DD rec'd a lot of attention over it.

On her bday, we took her to the BBB and then had breakfast with Cinderella in the castle. We went to the Grand Floridian where we had a photo session appt. That night we attended the Very Merry Christmas party. We also did the fireworks Wishes cruise and I had the boat decorated with bday balloons/streamers/etc. Of course we had more cake then, too.

It was a fun week of bday celebrations and we definitely had plenty of cake!

We just celebrated DD's 5th birthday and I got her the plush birthday Mickey also. We put several gifts on the table after she went to sleep so that Mickey and her family left her something when she got up. She did wear her birthday button everywhere and got many desserts. Make sure that you tell them when you check in at the restaurants that you are celebrating her birthday as some restaurants decorate the table. And don't forget her birth certificate so that she can get in free or get her other gift of choice at the gate.
