So, DVC studios and Std Rooms = Same Price

I've never considered staying at a Home Away from Home Resort, but I was poking around on the official site today.

Studios at say, Beach Club Villas, are the same price as a standard room (Rack Rate, of course).

What are the reasons for staying in a standard room when the studio is the same price? Sounds like you get a better view at a studio as compared to a standard room. Just looking for info, please.

Because there are a lot more standard hotel rooms available for rent than DVC studios. Most of the DVC villas are used by members.

Sometimes yes and sometimes no. That just isn't always the case.

What are the reasons for staying in a standard room when the studio is the same price?

Could also be the amount of people they have going...a standard room at the BC will hold 5 with 2 queen beds and a day bed...a studio will only hold 4 with 1queen bed and a sleeper sofa. Then there are also those, who would prefer 2 actual beds rather than 1 bed and the sleeper sofa and vice/versa. All depends on what you're looking for
