I agree. Last year, DH and I were going through the drive-thru ATM. The car in front of us pulled away and was gone. We pulled up and noticed that he had left his card in the machine. We pulled it out and took it back home with us where we called the company and let them know. They told us to cut up the card and he'd be sent a new one and he was VERY happy.
I wouldn't have taken the card, either. I would have felt too bad for the person who lost it.
I do not think what comes around goes around at all!
A few months ago I found a purse hanging in the bathroom of Cracker Barrel, I gave it to the manager WITHOUT looking to see how much cash was in it.
A few months back Ashley Smith (the hostage girl in Atlanta) was the guest speaker in one of the huge churches here. As we walked in, the lady in front of me dropped a huge wad of cash, I am thinking maybe her 10%
Well no one saw it but me I will tell you I NEEDED money but I scooped it up and gave it to her.
I can tell you that none of that karma come back, as a matter a fact a few pretty bad things happened the next couple days following those events.
So I dont buy you get what you give.... just my $0.02
