that you have had for a while and just don't want it anymore... But when you go to get rid of it you stop and remember the fun you had getting it?

I keep looking at my pins and just when I think I want to move a few... I remeber the 2 day trips to Fla to get a certain pin to trade for another one I wanted and then that trade turned in to another and so on... Ah Good Times!

It is funny but it is almost 6 years now that I have been going after pins and while I may not trade like I once did... I am still looking to complete sets I started 6 years ago. I look at ebay all the time and still bid...

When I look at them I say I could get 10 bucks for that or more for some... But when I look at them for a while longer... The memories they have brought me are priceless...

Sure there are some I don't need and will move those (someday) but there are thoise that I look at to this day that just make me smile.... Oh and what ever Vince says... I never ran for a pin!!! Everyone was just walking real slooooooow. :rolleyes1

While I am in total agreement with Nat about the "memory value" of so many pins in my collection I have to say that my memory of that morning is still vivid clear in my mind! That was back at the time when they still did the opening rope drop ceremony at Epcot and released the pigeons. We had gotten there early enough to be up near the front and when that rope dropped Nat took off like a Fullback blocking for a Tailback with only the goal line (Pin Central) in his sights. I have never seen Nat move so quickly and probably never will again....his knees did a lot of complaining to him about that run. Yes I said RUN Nat was off RUNNING for Pin Central and I ran right behind him. Oh and Scott ran too although I am sure he won't admit it! That trip's memories are absolutely priceless. Arriving on Halloween to get pins, being there for the November 1 Pin of the Month, finding out they were releasing the Darth Mickey Pin at World of Disney, not being early enough to get a wristband, but waiting for the time when they would distribute the leftovers and getting to purchase them and then flying home on November 1 having traveled to WDW in Florida from Maryland to have some fun with friends, purchase pins, trade pins, and make some priceless memories during a trip of less than 36 hours.
