So Confused!!

We just bought a contract at VWL last week. They were able to score me a Club Level room at AKV for Nov 25-30 which is really unbelievable because there are only 5 studios that are Club level. My DHs favorite resort is VWL, I called this morning to check and see what the rate would be at WL club level with AP discount. I know this would be a wonderful suprise for him, they have a Honeymoon Suite available for our time period.
I would either have to try and rent out my room at AKV or just cancel the reservation and rent out points to make up some of the diffrence.
I just wish that there were studios available at VWL for my time period for me to use my points on.

Just needed to babble for a bit, i just dont know what to do.

In the future, you may NEVER have luck in getting a CL room at AKV on your points, so I would keep it.

Thats kinda what Im thinking to, but I can just imagine the look on his face if I were to drive to WL instead of AK.

Is the CL room at AKV a DVC CL room or did they book you a DVC room on the 5th floor and add CL Lounge access? They may have booked you a 4th floor non DVC CL cash room.

Can your Guide switch you to the HS at VWL? To make or keep a sale, I have had them do all kinds of magic.

Depends on your Guide, who he is and how much pull he has how much you spent and if you are going to buy more points.

You won't know if you don't try.

DVC has made alot of money off of us. This will be our 5th contract with them. We owned from 2002- 2010 and sold now we regret our decision and bought this contract.

It matters more what your Guide has made. Some guides will do extra others don't seem to care. Like any business, different employees have different incentives and work ethics.

We switched Guides 3 times until I found one who I work well with. We had 26 contracts at 5 resorts, some direct, some resale. We just sold several to re-balance our ownership.
