My boyfriend and I leave for WDW in 25 days, our trip is already paid in full & today we called and added the basic dining plan to our package, but we dont quite understand it. We are staying at Pop, if we choose to eat breakfast at the pop food court does that count as a cs? or ts? and the cm i talked to told me we would be purchasing it for 7 nights. The first night we dont even get in until late. Does that mean it will carry over to the next day or what?
im so confused.

thanks for the help!

You get 1 TS, 1 CS, and 1 snack credit per person per night of your stay. If you stay for 7 nights, you each get 7 TS, CS, and snack credits.

The food courts are CS. You might want to look at the CS menus to plan where you might be eating -- a lot of them are better food and a better value than a food court breakfast. We used snack credits toward some of our food court purchases, or ate a light breakfast at the parks (like pastry and coffee).

Have you already made advance dining reservations for your TS meals? If you are leaving in just 25 days, your choices are going to be more limited, but if you call Disney Dining a CM can tell you what's available the days you are staying, and maybe offer some good suggestions. I always like to plan what park or parks we will be at that day (usually based on which ones have extra magic hours in the morning or the evening), and then plan our TS meals at or near those parks.

that's a link that describes the ddp for you. all of your credits get pooled, so for the time you are there, you will have 7 nights worth of credits per person. that means 7 counter service, 7 table service, and 7 snacks multiplied by the total number of people. you can use them any way you would like. some days 2 table service, some days 2 counter service, or use 2 table service at once for a signature meal.

each counter service includes - either a complete Combo Meal or one entree with one dessert (Lunch or Dinner) or one juice (Breakfast)

each table service includes - entrée, dessert or full buffet and non-alcoholic beverage

plus snacks, which i think disney has pretty much included most single serving items under $4

so if you choose to eat breakfast @ pop, you'll get a meal, plus a juice, for 1cs. if you will be eating cs for lunch, and think it would be a better deal to use your cs for lunch, then you could pay out of pocket for whatever breakfast items you choose. it's up to you. flexible.

sorry if that was long and confusing. any more questions, feel free to ask!

edit: katiebell, we must have been posting at the same time!

That makes alot of sense now & I agree using the CS credit will be better to for lunch to really get your moneys worth! thank you both very much!!
