OK....I just discovered this whole DISigner thing. I would like to make each of my 3 kids there own autograph books for this trip and I see that a lot of people do this, but I can't figure out how they do it. This forum is so overwhelming! I know the DISigners are making things for people....the pages to be signed and the covers. But if I was to make 3 books with all these different characters for each book.....how does that work? I would want all the pages on card stock.....so I couldn't print them as photos, but I couldn't print that many pages off....the ink! I saw on one thread that you click on the image and save it to your computer....but then what? :confused3

Then, I was trying to read the rules for DISigners....and got even more confused. What does "quoting" their designs mean? And do I only need the help for personalization when it comes to the cover?

If anyone could help, I'd be SOOOO grateful. :worship:

There are many options to how others have printed/made them. You could print them yourself but as you said, it could be a lot of ink. Although there are some pages that have been created that do not require much ink. (I am thinking of a set Natalie has done)

You could do photos, which you said you do not want to do. Although, could you paste a photo to cardstock?

You could have them printed in a photobook. Not every company will do them because of Disney copyright but there have been a few that others have had luck with.

Yes, you will only need personalization for the cover. The rest of the pages you can save 'as is'.

Quoting means when a person quaotes what another poster says when posting. For example, I just quoted your original post and replied. So you can see your comments above my own. There are a couple designers who do not like this but in general, the rest of us do not mind. In fact, I like for someone to quote me as I can see their remarks without having to go back and find/read. Quoting the designs means the same, just having the design show in the quote box. In order to not have this happen with the designers who do not like it, simply delete the IMG code info.

Here is the thread where our autograph experts are. You will probably find lots of useful info here. Also, if you have any other questions, the autograph thread would be the best place to ask.

Thanks so much. I think I'm finally starting to figure this stuff out. You designers to so many amazing things...it's hard to decide what to choose!
