The more research I do, the more confused I become! :confused3 I am looking for a 3 night stay in Orlando beginning July 1, 2011. We will be going the NASCAR race in Daytona on July 2nd. The only other planned activity is our cruise which leaves on July 5th. I have booked a room in Port Canaveral for the 4th. It will be myself, my DH and my DS 7. We will probably hit Sea World/Discovery Cove at least one day. But I would like to go to DTD at least one night as well if possible. I want a room/suite with double beds that serves free breakfast. The room must be clean, up-to-date with good reviews. ;) We need the iron/ironing board, ref. and microwave. Price would be hopefully no more than $90-120 per night. We will have our own vehicle for transportation. Do any of you wonderful disers have any great ideas for me? Thanks so much!

I'd post your question on the Trip Advisor Orlando Forum for more ideas / responses.

I like the Hilton Garden Inn SeaWorld. Breakfast is not automatically included, but you can book a rate that includes their buffet breakfast. Here you are just getting a room, but it will have a mini frig and microwave. I usually stay in offsite condos, but for two mini stays I stayed here. I think it's a great little property. You can actually even walk to Sea World from here.

My son has stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn near SeaWorld and really liked that too. It's not walking distance, but is a very short drive to Sea World and Discovery Cove. (This would be more space and include breakfast, but may have a higher price tag.) It gets good reviews also.

(Probably anything in the top 100 out of 358 properties will be very highly rated. Orlando in general offers great quality and value.) // You could sift though and choose from the first few that meet your budget, breakfast, and review critieria. It's pretty easy to get around in Orando and with a car you have lots of flexibility location wise.

Kathy884 - thank you so very much for taking the time to respond to my request (more like a desperate plea!!). Your info is very helpful - I think I am on the right track once again! :thumbsup2 Thank you!

Look at Staybridge Suites in Lake Buena Vista. 1 mile from DTD, easy access to Seaworld / Universal too. Excellent breakfast each morning and spectacular rooms.

See it here

Thanks guys! I think we have decided on the Hilton Bonnett Creek - found a great deal at lastminutedeals.com!
