So Confused About Resort Monorail Status!

Could someone please update/explain what the current status is regarding the resort monorails???

Specifically, if I am trying to get to/from the Contemporary to the MK or Epcot -what is the deal? Is there still a "line" out of service?

If you are riding the resort monorail you won't have any problems. Right now they are working on the express monorail but it is still running also. When you go to leave the parks you will ride the resort monorail.

It was still being refurbished last week while we were there. It makes the resort monorail extremely crowded, especially when leaving MK during the day. It is the only one they run until later in the evening. We avoided the chaos, and opted for the Ferry Boat to TTC.

Currently (5/20/05) the express monorail carries passengers only from TTC (parking lots) to Magic Kingdom in the AM and only from MK to TTC in the PM. Use the ferry boat or the resort monorail to go the other way.

From the Contemporary to the MK, I would just walk; there's a very well marked and easy path.

Isn't that pretty much what the express monorail is for anyway?
I meant it doesn't stop at the resorts anyway.

For those of you that have stayed at the Poly or GF or Contemporary in very recent....does it look like they will be finished with the gates at the resorts soon??
We leave on June 2nd for the Poly and are hoping this rehab will be completed by then.
