So confused about my call...

First let me say I had a great CM on the phone. Very helpful. I told him that I was planning a trip for family and that I had recieved an email that I believed had a discount offer in it from Disney Destinations and that I could no longer find the email. **This is true...I did recieve one a month ago but deleted it cause I didnt think we would ever go**. He said he was gonna check to see if I had anything connected to my name. I didn't...but I guess we have two accounts, one under my hubbies name. He asked me what times I was looking to stay..took all my info and told me that the discount had blackout dates, which included the first day of when we wanted to go which was (Nov 27 2010). He gave me a price for the WL...Dates 11/28-12/4 which is 7 nights 6 days and 7 day base park tickets..2 adults and 2 children. Quoted me 2259.75 **this is for a courtyard view room** I asked if he could tell me what the discount amount was..and he said he couldnt..its just a code they use and it gives me a discounted rate LOL. I also asked him to price out CS same dates, same park tickets..Water view room and he quoted me 1857.86. I am not sure what the discount rate is that is attatched to our names.

I tried to figure it out..and for the WL quote I think we got 30% off Rack Rate...but I dont know if my discount is an all around 30% off Discount for any level (I did ask if it was only for certain level resorts and CM said it was for all levels..just had the blackout dates for the first day I wanted to arrive).

Should I call back later and see if someone can give me better details on what the special discount attatched to my name is? Anyone know what this code might actually be??

You can back out the price of everything except the room. Don't forget the tax is different on the room (12.5%) than the tickets (6.5%). The only offer I know of then is the PIN for 25% off Value, 30% off mod and 40% off Deluxe. We had that one (actually we are going the same time) but when we visited WDW in Feb used the bounceback for 35% off mod.

The higher discounts with insurance looks like it. You do not have to purchase insurance, but they do automatically include it and don't always think to tell you.
