So confused about Epcot...

It takes about two hours just to walk from the front of the park back to World showcase and then back to the front. :cool1: Well almost two hours. It's just DW and I and we plan 3 days at Epcot out of a 10 day trip because there is som much to do. And just when we think we've seen it all they go and add a new attraction like Sorin. How dare they try to keep us there having a good time. :rotfl:

Being close to Epcot was one of the reasons my dh decided to buy BWV/DVC. We love being able to just walk over there for a meal or to just amble around. We love WS and spend a fair amount of time in FW. Dd even loves it there. Why, we could kill an hour just listening to Off Kilter!! We love Mission Space, Test Track and even tho I'm the only one who truly loves Spaceship Earth, my dd and dh put up with me and ride it at least once.

We spend, on average, for each trip..about 2 1/2 days total in Epcot. Much more time than either Studios or AK.

We love Epcot and even after a number of trips under our belt we still spend a half day in Epcot from opening to afternoon one day and then another half day from afternoon to closing to get the best of both times of day at Epcot. I would say overall, a day would be best to enjoy everything.

My husband and I love Epcot! We went once during the Food and Wine Festival and snacked our way around Future World. I like Epcot becuase it is relaxing and interesting. You don't have to run from ride to ride to avoid lines. Kids usually don't like it as much, but it's great for adults. You can go wine tasting in France, try German beers in Germany, see some acrobatic shows, drum shows, great movies, and other entertainers. DH and I love to grab some fish and chips and beer and listen to the British Invasion band playing.

We also love to browse in all the shops.

If it was only DH and I going to WDW, he would want to go to Epcot every day!

There are so many moments that aren't planned at Epcot. You walk by a country and there are street performers playing outside, so you stand and watch for 30 minutes. It can happen at almost every country.
The shops are wonderful, you don't even have to have money to buy, just window shopping.
And, the food.......... :)
Future World has several interactive places along with the regular rides.

I agree! Epcot is my favorite park!

I would have to agree with most everyone here. We are a married couple with no children, and this is our favorite park. Plenty of stuff to keep us busy for a couple of days, not just a couple of hours. On a very short trip to the beach a few years ago with my parents, we were able to go to one of the parks for just one day (since we were staying at the beach), and we chose Epcot over all of the other parks.
