Ok. I generally have no problem figuring this all out as we've been to Disney World like a million times, know all the ins and outs of FP+, etc. But, we've not had APS since the introduction of FP+, so I'm a little confused.

Our next trip looks like this.

Staying in the Orlando area for two weeks, September 1st-15th.

First night on-site at Contemporary.

All other nights off-site.

I have an Ap.

My 12 year old will have a 10 day hopper ticket.

So....given this complex word problem type scenario. Can anyone give me a short and and simple answer about when I can make fp+ reservations and for how many days? Lol. Thanks!

You will be able to make FP+ on the day of check-in and check-out for the Contemporary, so only 2 days - at 60 days from check-in. The rest - you will have to wait until 30 days. I believe it's a rolling 30 days also.

60 days before your Contemp check-in date, your FP booking window opens.

You can book FPs for both of you for September 1st - September 2nd.

Beginning for September 3rd, you then have a rolling 60-day window to complete FP booking for the remainder of your park days for your child.

Each day the open window rolls forward - you can choose to book FPs each day or wait and do the remaining 8 days all at once.

Because you have an AP, I'm not sure if you'll be able to book for only 7 total days or for all 10 days when the rolling window begins. Perhaps other APs who have had this type of Split Stay can better answer.
