The current promo for a 3-day parkhopper is a better deal than the 2-day parkhopper ($154 vs. $173). So, not only is it ~$20 less, but you also get an extra day. Unfortunately, you have to use your first day by Sept. 5, and we aren't going until 9/26. Argh!

Historically, does anyone know if more So Cal resident offers will come out once this one expires? I know that there's no way to know for sure, but just wondering if any of the experts had a hunch.

I can't remember if they do a good fall deal. I do recall a good winter deal to get you to both parks. You bought a 1 day regular price for either park and could use it up to Spring Break for the other park. Basically a 2fer that encouraged you to go into DCA.

Thanks for the info. I keep hoping that, once Labor Day is over, there will be some hotel and/or ticket offers. But who knows, since it will be Halloween and they have a lot going on then with MHP.

If you look at the terms of the SoCal offer:
"First use must occur on or before September 5, 2011. Tickets expire 45 days from first use or on October 19, 2011, whichever comes first."

I see you're in LA. It's kind of silly, but if you could buy the summer promo ticket and just make it to the parks to activate it once before Monday, maybe have dinner and ride a ride or two, you could use the other two days during your trip. Just a thought!

Ah, if it were only so easy to "pop down" to DLR from Los Angeles! With traffic, there's no such thing as a quick trip :rotfl2: Plus, by the time we pay for parking and dinner...we have lost our savings! I guess I will just hope something good comes up after Labor Day. Deal or no deal, we're going on 9/26 & 27...can't wait!
