I have a niece that lives in Anaheim. Can my family of six that does not live in California get the so cal annual pass if she buys them for us or are the passes non transferable?
Nope, that won't work. When you have your AP processed at the Bank they will require a photo id and take a photo to put on your AP. They will deny you right there without a valid S. Cal address.
FYI-You can only buy one day (or when they have buy a day get a second day free) tickets with a California ID for others who are not SoCal residents. I think you can purchase up to 6, but double check that number if you ever want to do it.
When I got my first so cal annual pass I did show id with a NY drivers license. And used my parents address for the tickets. I might not have even had to show an id. It was 2005 at the time. I know it can be done. what if you showed a pass port for your id.
