So Ashamed....

Some people may take offence to this. I am 19 and I weigh more than 120 pounds and I think I look great in my spandex tights or my short shorts. Not everybody has to be "under 120" to be toned, athletic or beautiful.

I think as long as your not wearing anything offensive or overly revealing than everything will be just fine.

How did you even find this thread...it's almost 6 years old! Gosh, you were barely a teenager when this thread was "current":rotfl:

OP, count me as one person who doesn't like sweatpants or shorts with the words across the butt. Not because I think they are inappropriate but because I think very few people can carry them off..Most of us in this country are overweight these days and it just looks stupid to draw attention to a big fanny. I don't mind them on kids though.

All that being said, kudos to you for not letting the opinions of others sway your decision.:thumbsup2:goodvibes. At the end of the day, only you should be making these decisions for your child.

Hmmm.... the original thread was in 2003... I was 15-16 then and I had a pair of red shorts and a pair of blue shorts that Abercrombie across the butt and wore both while in WDW. Maybe everyone was talking about me?

Oh well, I couldn't care less- it's not like I haven't thought about the dumb stuff they were wearing either.

:goodvibes

This is a little off the subject, but I feel like sharing...

I have a pair of shorts with "Kiss My" written on the butt. I've never worn them out of the house, but they seem to let my family know when to give me some space... haha!!!

Where did you get these shorts? I would like about 5 pairs!! And I might just be tempted to wear them in public...there's a lot of people in my little town who I'd like to send that message too. :)

And good for the OP who let her daughter wear her princess shorts. I have a 13-year old that I allow to wear a lot of stuff that some may deem inappropriate - not risque - more grunge (or whatever kids call it these days). I figure if ripping her jeans all up is some sort of fashion statement for her, it doesn't have to be a hill to die on for me. I'd rather let some of her clothing choices slide and have her trust me later with the real big stuff. Now, if she ripped the rear end of her jeans out, that'd be another story completely. :rotfl2:
