So are we getting a Celebration board?

I was wondering now that we are in the new celebration year we might get one titled for it?

The moderators discussed it and as a group felt that the threads on the new promotion - so far at least - would probably be a better fit on the main ThemeParks Board.

Personally I think given the details of the new promotion there isn't a need for a seperate board for it. You are either there for your birthday or not.

agreed This is kind of a let down promotion after the past two years "Dreams" promotion for me but I guess the economy is forcing them to concentrate on getting ppl THERE as opposed to treating ppl that are already there. (the buy 4 get 3 free or 4 get 3 thingie)

But on the bonus side maybe ppl who were previously unable to go to Disney might finally be able to afford it

I haven't looked at this year's deal yet because our next visit isn't till summer 2010 but maybe there are some added perks other than the lowered price? The lowered price is pretty kewl tho ya gotta admit.

I swear if I could get this deal plus free dining I'd go again this summer instead of going to the dentist and paying off my hubby's truck. No I'm not lying LOL.

I thought this new promotion was sort of lame until we visited last week. It was great!

Everywhere someone was getting congratulated for their birthday or anniversary, etc.. Cast members were singing happy birthday to people with birthday pins while we waited in line for a ride.

I bet a lot of people will have celebration stories to share. So it might be neat to have a board where we can read about their experience.
