So are the pools really warm already?

Just wondering if Disney has figured out a way to keep the pools cool during the summer yet? We went several summers ago and I recall the pools not being very refreshing. Felt like swimming in a warm bath!

Only thing that I've experienced cooling the water is rain.

Friday we had bath water. Today, after pretty good afternoon storms the past couple days, the water felt a little more refreshing.

Since the pools are heated to 80-something all year long, they are going to be at 80-something all year long. In the winter that feels warm (until you get out, if it's a cold snap). In the summer that's going to feel different.

It's strange. We just got back from Arizona/Utah and the hotel pools were very cool. I don't know how they did it? But they did - after 115 degrees beating down on us all day, the pool felt positively refreshing! I actually got cold! I wish Disney's could be the same!

Florida doesn't have "dry heat"...

Very little temperature drop off after Dark and the 70-85% constant relative humidity makes it like a pressure cooker at all times...

Summer in the swamp.

You were in the desert. When the sun is out, it is very hot. But, when the sun goes down, so does the temperature. It gets downright chilly at night. Check the overnight temps where you were. That is why the pool cooled down.

Where I am in Texas, we get hot and stay hot. It doesn't get cool enough for long enough to cool anything down. Pools don't cool down here during the summer.

We went in August and the poly pool was ice cold. Uncomfortably cold for me and I'm NEVER cold. I'm always hot.

BC pool was so refreshing.

We were at the Beach Club last week and the water was to warm to be refreshing. It was in the high 90's though. I wish it has been cooler.

Umm...take a look at this picture. There's not a lot you can do with that...it's as consistently brutal as it gets.
