I would never buy one. Even on the commercial they look like they are not made very well. I have other things to waste my money on.

The Slanket version is made very well and is, in my opinion, better than a backwards bathrobe or regular throw when used in a chair or sofa. Bathrobes are not long enough to cover your feet and regular throws can't cover your arms easily if you want to read a book or answer the phone, for instance. With the Slanket, my arms stay warm and are still useful.

I voted yes, but actually received it as a gift. I would never have gotten one for myself. I put the thing on for about 3 minutes and my DH told me I looked like a Jedi Knight.
It's way to long for me to get up and walk around in, I'm 5' and it's made for someone 7' tall.
Also, I live in FL, so wrapping myself up in a blanket while watching t.v. or doing any of the other advertised activities was never a necessity.

It gets very dry here in winter. Are they static resistant? I think I would short out my laptop wearing one!

and lately I am "the old guy in the comforter" DW is always warm so we keep the temp cold and I wear something. Like tow pairs of socks, hehehehehee It saves us money I guess.

I prefer a cotton blanket compared to an acrylic.
