Good morning everyone! I haven't been on here since before Christmas, so I hope everyone had a good Christmas and New Years (and if you celebrate something else, I hope that was good, too!)
It was awfully hard to get moving today. Besides the bitter cold temperatures (I mean, if we're going to have temps in the single digits, I'd really like some snow to accompany it!!), I had to come back to work today - 1st time since before Christmas. I'm not adjusting very well to dress shoes (give me back my mammoth crocs). Plus, this is the first time in a few years we don't have a Disney trip planned. Although, I had some encouraging news over the break....we're going to try to visit my mom in sunny California over spring break and DH said if we do we can make a short visit to Disneyland!!! WHOOHOO!! I don't care if I only get one day there...I'll take it! I'm having some serious Mickey withdrawal.
Here's hoping we can find good airfare prices.
Major Mickey withdrawals here too!! I can't believe it's been almost a year since our last trip, and not one in sight! Booo!

We are planning a caribbean cruise for July 4th, but I'm not near as excited about it because 1-it will be with my mom, step dad and most of his family (not that I don't like them, but it kind of leads to number 2-hubby doesn't want to go. At all. Mainly because of number 1
, but also, he just has never had any desire to go on a cruise. I'm sure I could get him to go on a Disney cruise because, well, it's Disney and he's a lover of all things Disney, but no so much a lover of my parents.
So that puts a damper on the excitement of planning, which I normally LOVE! I'm looking forward to the kids' first time on the beach (other than CBR
). Everyone else is getting antsy to book our flights, so I've been checking on airfare. Anyone ever flown to San Juan??

Ah, they grow up so fast.
We actually took a quick trip to Paris last weekend--drove down on Jan 1 and home the next day--it was fun (but very COLD!), but I was a little sad to be so close and not visit Mickey!
Have a great Disney day, everyone!
It's good to hear from you!
) I got the Lifesavers ones because I'm not a huge fan of the peppermint ones, and they've been really nice. I've learned that anything I can do to stay stationery and keep my mind off my stomach helps...sometimes.
, and getting ready for work, I find myself remembering that a year ago today I was on the bus heading to All-Star Music...
I hate, loathe, abhor our summers, so I know how you feel! I am getting just a teensy bit of a feel for how ya'll have winter! We are not predicted any snow,,but they are saying with wind chill and all that, it'll be 6 tonight, and -7 tomorrow night
We are soooooo not used to that....i remember winters when we were sooo thrilled to see 40 or 50...it just doesn't get this cold usually....I am really liking it so far! I am not having to be out walking around in it though.....Like poor ole Dave the Postman!!!!!! Ha!!!
