Thanks for the congrats! I've been too busy to really think too much about it. I am going to be trying to finagle (sp?) ways to get back there sooner than originally planned!

Kim (Monny) - did you get your painting done??

I was at a dinner last night with some girlfriends (the one who's living in London was there) and another woman stopped by - they all said "you should talk to Sheree" and "Sheree, Guess where Kelly's going?" Of course - WDW! They are going for free dining on Saturday! We just chatted briefly about it. She's been checking out some info and hasn't been in 5 or 6 years. She doesn't want to freak out, so I just told her to relax and seek out the a/c!

Also - I am 99% sure on my TR title, so hopefully I can start this weekend. That's when I expect to have a good block of time. Woo hoo!

Well, my family finally came to a decision about resorts. We booked 6 nights at Caribbean Beach Resort in preferred rooms. I don't even ask why and my husband just smiles and nods.

We're leaving today for a family "vacation" which has had me in tears daily this week. Please don't mention that on Facebook. Yesterday was the proverbial straw that broke my back and, probably, Jeremy's. His parents have decided to refuse to rent a car and his mom informed him (!!!) that when he, his brother, and his dad go golfing, they're taking our car and not the car with the baby seat. After discussion, because that was TERRIBLY rude - my husband barely golfs and if they want to go so bad, they can find their own way! - we agreed that we weren't going to demand that they rent a car but that we'd just refuse to leave me stranded at the house all day. The guys aren't early morning golfers so it would be all. day.

(and his parents have decided they'll go grocery shopping when they arrive. WITH WHAT CAR.)

Ahem.

YAY! Less than a year until Disney with my family.... in separate rooms... where we don't have to worry about cars ... and we'll all do our own things

Oh! And I talked J into two nights, pre-cruise, at Pop Century. But we scored a pretty good rate with the current sale that is going on! Turns out his friend's family is also going on the same cruise/cruising with us so everything I tell his friend to do, he does. Now that' show you plan a group vacation!!

Do you ladies have transportation recommendations to/from the cruise ship? If it was just Jeremy and myself, Disney transportation was economical enough. But now that there are 5 of us, I can certainly get a better deal with private transportation!

Shoot Sarah! I hate that for you!! this is why I don't travel with other people...especially family! We would all be murderous before we even left the parking lot!! Hopefully it'll work out better when you all get going....try to have fun....just think "I am not at work"...maybe that'll get you through!!!

Dang, Sarah - that does not sound fun. I hope it will all work out. Any way they can take you to a park or something before they go golfing? You need to have fun too.
This, my friend, is the advantage of staying on property!

I can't help too much with the transportation to/from the cruise. We have always had our personal vehicle with us. I know on the DIS site they have a company they recommend. I just can't think of it off the top of my head.

I WILL start my TR today!!! It might not be much, but I WILL START IT!!
There. I said it on the boards, now I have to do it.
Hope you all have a good weekend. We have hardly any plans. Sarah had dance auditions last night, so we're watching for an email letting her know if she made the line. NOTHING to do today - so I can write my TR. I think I might go through some closets or organize something. I'm kind of in that sort of mood.
Tomorrow night we have tickets to the Twins game. It was supposed to be in the afternoon, but they moved it to televise on ESPN - look for us way high up down the third base line into left field! I'm glad they changed it because it's supposed to hit 90 again and we'd be in the sun all afternoon!

We made it! And we got the wireless router up and running! (What? Did you expect any different?! )

The house is lovely but I do think we're going to feel crowded after a day or two, especially since the parent in laws refuse to rent a car. I am sort of disinclined to care that they're stuck, especially since my BIL brought the small car (they have an SUV and a sedan).

I'm going to focus on my happy upcoming Disney trips, instead. And hopefully some QT with the niece!

Hi Birdies. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

I could use some prayers and happy thoughts this week. I'm having a rather large problem with a co-worker, well actually this person is literally harassing just about everyone at work, and 2 of the 3 managers aren't doing anything about it. I've told them repeatedly what is going on, so at this poing I'm seriously considering call HR about it so that the appropriate steps can be taken. The other manager is completely on our sides and keeps encouraging us to report this to HR because clearly the other managers don't care. I'm really struggling with this. I know it's not an excuse, however this guy has been to Iraq twice in the last 4 years and I know it was messed him up, so part of me thinks that he's mentally not healthy enough to deal with certain things yet. Again I know I should not give him any excuses, however if he needs help, he needs to get it.

So this week will be filled with meetings trying to solve problems and me job hunting, because I'm sick of working for someone who doesn't like confrontation.

Ugh....maybe I should just run away and not deal with it....

Shelly~ I will be praying for you for sure! Let us know what you decide...but if you feel that a new job is what you need, we will be praying you get it! Job-related stress is terrible!!! I dealt with it when I worked at the bank...YUCK!!
We had a good weekend...had some friends come over this afternoon after church and we ate pizza and let the kids swim...mommies got to talk for about 3 minutes without child interruption!!!

I got all the painting done in the playroom. I never did get to the stairwell. Instead I took the kids to the playground, relaxed and watched movies with them, read books and just enjoyed one on one time with them. I'll get to the stairwell at some point.

Hi Snowbirds.... hope everyone is doing well.... seems that I missed a few birthdays!!! Happy Birthday to all... and DVC purchases...yeah!!!! The last week has been kind of crazy but we are here at the Boardwalk and Maggie is almost settled in her apartment... but it has been anything but easy...

Lets see... we were about 150 miles into our 1200 mile trip when the car started making noises... well we keep going... trying to get to NC where we would be staying overnight and the next day... made it... barely... the catalytic converter went on Maggies car... found a shop to fix it right away for us... but it did cause me some stress....and some $$$... after a nice visit in NC with my Mom, nephew and his family we headed to Disney.... arrived here Friday night... spent two nights at Shades of Green... LOVE THAT PLACE... the rooms are so big!!!
Monday Maggie went to get checked in... she is so excited about the next few months... she did get a job at Animal Kingdom... working in merchandise.. on Discovery Island... so we are guessing that will be one of the stores before you hit the tree of life... she moved into her apartment... they are large... small closets in her room though... they obviously didn't know how much stuff she brought with her.... her roommates seem like nice girls. One of them will also be at AK - in Dinoland, one at Epcot and one at HS... Maggie and her roommate(two to a bedroom) have the only two cars... hoping that doesn't become an issue ..... but things look good..

we are staying at the Boardwalk... lovely hotel ... though the rooms are rather small after staying at the SOG... the grounds are nice though... right now I am sitting on the balcony looking at the lake overlooking the boardwalk having my coffee... everyone is still sleeping...
