meg~ I know!!! Me too!! He is sooo smart and I think it just really aggravates him more than other kids!LOL!! He is def there to learn an listen to the teacher~he is at the age and with that being his interests (math and science, and computer), that he just soaks up whatever you teach him...and if he keeps getting distracted he gets annoyed...that is just something he will have to adjust to in the world of school.... but he is very easy going too, so hopefully they won't push his buttons too much with all the yacking! LOL!!! He is doing his Alg homework right now and he is getting through it great! And he is explaining to me, how Ms. L teaches him and he really likes her!!!

Thank you everyone for your prayers. After 99 years my grandma was finally called Home....she gets to actually hug Jesus!! It was peaceful and calm.

Well....

Apparently, it's been too long since I got hurt. So I sprained my ankle over the weekend. After much deliberation with my husband, we agreed that I should go to the doctor. (The deliberation came because it is CLEARLY a sprain and nothing worse... nor better)

The doctor called it a bad sprain, put me on crutches for a week, in a brace for longer, told me to do NOTHING, and upped my pain meds. Happy September, self?

Oh well. It could have been so much worse. We were out jogging and I put my foot down on uneven pavement and that was that. I managed to land on a patch of grass, so I have no road burn to go with it and it's not a break or a full ligament tear. It doesn't need surgery, it's just eyeroll worthy!

Oh no..... hope your feeling better soon!

Hello everyone. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers during the past few weeks. I'm so glad this week from H-E-Double hockey sticks is finally over. We had funeral Wednesday and burial Thursday. The last of the out of town family has left this morning. So we are just getting back into the grove of things.

This weekend is wedding planning with my brother and his fiance.

Also yesterday we made some decisions regarding our disney trip. We have decided due to flight costs, we are flying down Friday morning instead of Saturday! So we'll book one random night at one of the All Star resorts. Which means my ticker is a day off. So then we just need to book a couple ADRs and place our order from Garden Grocer.

How are all the kids doing with school? Hope everyone is doing well!

It is always better when all that is over and you can move on~it's nice to have support for each other, but it does tend to make your state of mine more depressed and keeps everyone in a subdued state...not to mention when you have family members(like some of mine) that like to argue about any and everything!! But, you are hopefully going to have a better weekend planning the wedding! That will be fun!
Congrats on getting an extra night~~ flight prices are thru the roof right now...and what's crazy is that they are all fully booked! My friend is a flight attendant and she said they are amazed how full the flights are with these ridiculous prices!

3 more days!!!! AHH!!!! I can't believe our trip is almost here and I am going crazy!! I cleaned most of the house today and will finish tomorrow. No one likes coming home to a dirty house! Plus, my sister and BIL are coming over tomorrow to watch football...and eat ribs! I'll have to do a little bit of laundry in the morning before they come over....gotta make sure we have clean shorts for the trip! Thankfully, it's started to cool down a bit so we can wear jeans the next few days. Monday will be the craziest day....Tony will be running our last few errands and I'll be packing like a mad woman!

Shawna - Congrats on 2 months! And Meghan - OMG - just one week!!

We're at a little over a month. YEAH! I am SO ready for this vacation!

I agree - FOTLK is one of my absolute favorite shows at Disney - BATB is the other. I'm not a huge fan of Nemo - don't know why. I would be hugely disappointed if they got rid of this show completely. The auditorium is ALWAYS packed when we go. And, I hope Avatarland doesn't happen, either. I've never seen the movie - really don't have any desire to - and don't want it as Disney.

I'll be so sad if they close Lion King before we're there in January. In all of our trips we've never seen it, and I'm DYING to! Our school got group tickets to see the stage show of it in St Louis, so we took the boys (it was our first time seeing any type of musical) and we were all just enthralled! It was amazing.

Well, we are looking at rain the next couple of afternoons and an ushering in of new nighttime lows!!!! We are gonna hit the 50s by Wed/Thurs night! I am so excited! I just love the cooler weather..days will still be in the 80s, but the air will be different and not like you are living in an oven! of course, this means fall allergy time and sinus problems, but I am starting on a daily dose of Allegra today! My eyes are killing me they are so itchy!! I forget every year that this stuff starts BEFORE you see the ragweed growing!! That stuff is an enemy for sure!! Hope y'all are all enjoying some nicer weather too!! Enjoy your Sunday with your families...Meghan try to take a nap today if you can~even 15 minutes!! I think you need a Benadryl before bed tonight!! I know you feel like with all you have to do!!!!!

Didn't get any rest yesterday! I was ready for bed at 6pm.

Yes, packing is today! Tony will run a bunch of last minute errands but we have an unexpected thing to take care of. We have a plumber coming today...we have some water around our toilet. Not cool!

Nothing major...just needed the wax ring replaced. Tony left to run our errands around 10am and I just got Cole down for a nap. Now, I just have to sit here until Tony gets home before I can pack. Cole's likes to nap on the couch, so I can't really do much while he sleeps. It's now 10:30am and I still haven't started packing!

Hello peeps! Well, our nights are getting a little cooler finally,..tomorrow night shoud be in the 50s!! I am soooooo ready for that!! My ds13 is having a good adjustment period so far at his new school! This week he has 3 B Days, so Mon, Wed, Friday,...he's able to get up easier in the morning and get his uniform on, backpack on,...ahhh to be so burdened with a few responsiblities!! LOL!! I knew he would transition well, just had to let him see it! I got a few pics of him last week on his first day, ds16 from his first day and today is the first day they both go to Chapel and wear a different Uniform...if Photobucket will allow I will post some shortly!!
