Thanks! And we like the car too~~ kinda like the BatMobile!!! It wasn't what we were technically looking for,but if anything was much older they seemed to be needing too much work!! So, this will get him through into college!
I will have to put some of dd up from her recital back in May...I have been soooo bad about putting pics up,...and Photobucket seems to be taking an eternity!!!
Two of my friends have had new baby girls in the last week and I am thrilled for them...but still kinda sad for me. I really wanted a couple of more!! Oh well, I guess i will just buy baby stuff for others!! My one friend is 41 and it was a TOTAL shock...her last kid is 10 and she said after her she was DONE!!!! Oh well, guess the Lord had other plans...both babies are beautiful and TIIIIINY!!!

Shawna- Your babies aren't babies anymore!!!!

What's everyone have planned for the weekend? I bet it's more fun than what's in store for me! We're putting a roof on our house this weekend. I'll be glad when it's done. Our current roof has been up there for 28 years old and it probably wouldn't make it through another winter.

Other than that not much going on here. We walked to our neighbors farm and picked some apples then came home to chop them up and make crock pot applesauce. My house smells so yummy. I love fall!

I know!! It's bittersweet! I am so proud of who they are becoming and how great they are,..but I suuuure do miss those little baby and toddler days. 3 of my friends have had 3 baby girls as of last night,just since last Thursday...makes me weepy.
We are not doing much of anything~I hope!! I guess it's the weather change,but I have been exhausted this week...like, super sleepy. I think it's allergies. DD and I are working on her math right now and I am so tired I can hardly retain what she's asking me!! LOL... I am looking forward to some late sleeping in the morning!
Kim, I know you are thankful for that new roof~28 years is a looooong time!!! you had a good roof!!

Have had trouble sleeping this week so I have been up since 4 am three days in a row... so my laundry, grocery shopping and housework is all done... I think I will be doing some outside work today... bringin in the lawn furniture, putting up the corn stalks, etc.... maybe making an apple pie...

I'm getting over a head cold and stomach bug at the moment (this year seems to be my year of getting sick, after not being sick for so long!). I should be right as rain tomorrow. Tomorrow, it's the birthday party of my twin charges and I've been invited to go. They turned 3 this past Tuesday. There are 30+ guests due to be attending tomorrow, so it'll be quite something.

I'm in the midst of looking for a job for next year, as my charges will be starting school next September, and they will no longer need me. Bit sad, as I've been with them since they were under a year old, and I was there for all of the major milestones. Oh well, these things happen.

Wendy, I guess it's the season change...i have been soooo sleepy during the week that I had to take naps 3 days before I cooked dinner!!! And during the nights I am not sleeping well~ have heard this from several people around here as well....and one day I was up at 5:30,which for me is super early!!!

Laura, I bet that party was something!!! LOL!!! Lots of kids!!!

I'm still lying around! Back on crutches, so I've got to take it super-easy. I'm bored with that, but I'm getting a lot of reading done.

We're just about a month away from making our finally payment for our Disney Fantasy cruise, in January, so I had my usual wacky pre-vacation dream last night. It's always pretty silly stuff, but this dream also involved some beeping. I woke up and realized that, oh yeah, a smoke detector had a low battery beeping. Have you ever noticed that ONLY happens over night? Why IS that?

Oh, it was! There was definitely over 30+ people there, into one small house. It was a Thomas the Tank Engine themed, so trains EVERYWHERE. I am tuckered!

well, I bragged too soon about getting cooler nights..we are gonna be back up in the low 70s at night,..and today is in the 90s...its definitely not unbearable, or like it is in the summertime....but oh how envious of all of you up north we are!!! Yall get into fall and it does not turn back into summer until November!

We've got the cooler weather here! It's gorgeous fall weather. A little cold in the morning - especially since I was sitting out for a garage sale the last two mornings - Brrr!
Sold some stuff, but not the big BR set I was trying to move. Will have to try craig's list...

Counting down the days til WDW!!! Three weeks from today we'll have gone to AK and Ohana dinner and be watching the fireworks from Poly beach!!! I'm so excited for so many new things this trip. I should probably finish up my TR from the last trip soon. I still have a little more time in Paris plus the rest of London. I'm going to have to scale that part down a bit. Sarah's going to write her thoughts about DLP and post too. Should be fun.
