Snow-Wigd and the Christmas Elves, a December pre-trip!

I am trying not to think about what this next week holds for me at work, although Monday is creeping ever closer and closer.
Jackie, I'm sorry school is so stressful for you right now. It's not supposed to be that way during the holidays. Let's hope the next two weeks fly by!

Your last batch of shopping from Disney is very cute!!!
Thank you, I think it's time for me to be done!

I hear ya - that would be great! Honestly though, I'm just hoping for no rain. I have a friend there right now and it's been cold and rainy the last few days. I can handle cold weather, but I can't handle being cold AND wet :sad2:
Oh, I can handle anything but rain! Rain, rain, stay away!!!
I bought Brooklynn and Bella the Santa's Cookies plate today that is the same style as your tree skirt. :)
I'll bet that cookie plate is darling!

The bags are fun!
And it all started with a Halloween bag.....

I am not even thinking trip thoughts until I am out of school. I just left the travel-sized things, ponchos, etc., in my suitcase from the October trip, so that's a start.
That's a good plan! I have a drawer that I start stashing Disney goods in...

Explain the DVC thing to me. I haven't read it all, but does it mean if you get the points you could possibly be there for NYE?
The contract that we are buying has 120 points that have to be used by Feb. 1.
If we close very soon, we would be able to use those points for a portion of the trip coming up and possibly extend our visit. It would just free up some of the points we are using for our 2br at Kidani. It's confusing. But we are going to discuss sending the big kids home and Marc, Baylor and I staying for a few more days.

If we can't use them then they will go to someone that can!

Tear it up on the Toy Story Wii game at school. You have to 'represent', you know!
I still need to learn how to use the game system.....

Let me change that - not NYE, but overlapping the beginning of our NYE trip.
I can't even think about it. Everything is so up in the air!
You are getting so close! So exciting.

I know! It seems like we haven't been in forever!

We do algebra too, what math series do they use?

I have no idea! All I know is she brings home worksheets and does them! :rotfl:

I love your new tree skirt and the plushes under the tree!

I was just wondering if you all had Everyday Math....
That's our series, very different from the way I learned to do math!

Okay somehow 2 pgs behind again:

Shocker has interesting taste in shoes

More disney stuff received.

You're a busy lady, but it'll make time go much faster.

Closing hasn't happened yet. It sounds like someone might be buying those points off of you.......hmmmmm..jen and LL?

Time is going very fast, I can't believe how the weeks are flying by!

We are just playing the waiting game right now....
Let's just Jen and LL are going to get a "deal" !
:cutie: ;)

I don't understand the new ways to do math. I just can't wrap my brain around the concept of there being more than 1 way to do it.

I can't count the times one of my dear children has informed me that I'm doing it wrong, while helping with 3rd grade homework.

I know that's what Alison had when she was in elementary school so it's probably the same with Hannah.

Bummer about the points not closing yet...but that would be nice of you if those points could be purchased by people who you know need them.:thumbsup2
I think it's very exciting to help them stay deluxe if it works out!

I remember having the same feeling before I started teaching this math series. The other day at the nail salon I had to help my nail lady's daughter with her math....

It's a good series but so different. Everyone had fits when it was adopted by our district. Now we love it!

Oh my gosh...Anita David has the Everyday Math in 2nd grade and one night I was checking over his homework...I thought either he was mad or I was because I didn't know what was going on with the +s and the arrows and the boxes...it was surreal...:lmao:...(he was right...I got it after my 7 year old explained it to me...:rolleyes1)

How cool that you take your class to the Nutcracker...:goodvibes

How do you like your tree skirt...it looks really cute and I've been eyeing that and the stocking that match it since they've gone on sale...:rolleyes1 I don't need them...but I sort of want them...;)

popcorn::

So is David learning partial sums? I teach 2nd grade and that's what we have been working on...
Actually now we are moving on to Geometry in unit 5.

I'm so looking forward to our Nutcracker outing on Thursday. Some of our boys didn't want to go but I think they will enjoy it in spite of themselves...

I say go for the Christmas stocking and the tree skirt! You can't beat the price. :goodvibes
enable, enable, enable.....

Not if your teacher incorporated Disney into your math curriculum...;) Think of all the great word problems you could do involving ADRs, Airfare and trip packing...:lmao:

I'd have a fighting chance....but I'm not a Math, Science, Computer Asian--I'm Hot and Sweaty.;)

Hmmm I believe he is finishing up the partial sums...they just did some temperature stuff and I think they are moving on to unit 5 also...it is a bit different...;)

There is a new book out called the Nutty Nutcracker...bit of a modern spin from the little brother's perspective...I just read it to David with a more traditional version to show points of view...(it was cute...the nutcracker turns out to be a girl in the former version...role reversal...)

Ok thanks for the enabling...:thumbsup2...I was right on the fence and could have been pushed over by a feather but this is good...:lmao:...Do I order tonight or wait till tommorrow?...:surfweb:

I'd fail 2nd grade math today. I am so not Asian.
I think you'd be able to catch on......if given enough time!

Let me tell you, Disney can be incorporated into any math lesson....
In 4th grade we did a mapping activity with Disney maps....
Fun times!

Have you thought about a cold shower?

They should be learning about lines, line segments, rays.....

Sounds like a fun book, I'll have to see if we have it in our library.:goodvibes

Darn, you have signed off....
I was searching for a t-shirt design to please Keeley....
I hope you completed your order, if not, do it NOW!

Are those official census categories?

Under race, check the box...

1. for Math, Science, Computer Asian

or

2. for Hot and Sweaty Asian...?....:rotfl2:
Could you be any more clever?:rotfl2:
:lmao::lmao::lmao:

I just inhaled my pop when I read that!
I just spit mine out!:lmao:

This was awesome. HA HA
Pure insanity!:rotfl:
