Snow-Wigd and the Christmas Elves, a December pre-trip!

My favorite part was taking my team to the Dior counter for make-overs. They were so cute, and the saleslady was super nice because it was her birthday, too.

BD will be happy to know that he doesn't have to defend Charles on this TR.

Oh my, a Dior make-over! I'm sure they looked delightful when it was over! So now do they all want a new line of make-up?

Wow...everytime I'm away from the boards for more than 3 days...I miss so much stuff...:sad2:

Baylor is 11...wow....getting big...:goodvibes...I hope his birthday was fun...:goodvibes:bday:..

Hope the bowling was a blast...:thumbsup2

(Hmm so what do 11 year old boys do at a sleepover...you might be surprised at how loud and how much 11 year old girls can eat at a sleepover...;)

So he is going to do PL...at Christmas...he'd have a ball...(you will too...)

I caught that reference to the felt PP ornaments...;)...I'm going to have to start checking out ebay more often...do you just put in Disney...or do you differentiate by category?

popcorn::

Thanks for the birthday wishes Patricia! I do know how loud 11 year old girls can be at a slumber party, both of my girls had them but, I was much younger.....
11 year old boys tend to wrestle a lot.....things get broken, they get hurt....no thanks!
Bowling was fun for the first hour, then they became restless......
If you would like to drool over the PP ornaments, just search for Disney felt ornaments.
You'll find them!

Oh and I think we will be waiting on PL for June, just not enough time in December.

Actually I can imagine that 11 year old boys could be destructive...without even trying to be...:lmao:

(When I watch Emily's 14 & 15 year old guy friends...who are really nice kids...even they are still like big Golden Retriever puppies...it seems like they always have to be in motion...sparring with each other and scuffling...I don't even think they're aware they're doing it... :confused3)

Girls aren't that physical although I am always surprised at how loud they can get and how much food they can actually put down when they aren't worried about being judged or anything...;)

Ebay and I are going to get to be great friends I think...:rotfl:

(I know that you have 2 girls but I do forget since Baylor is a bit younger...I always wonder what it's going to be like for David when Emily goes to college...:scared1:(ok breathe...she's only a freshman...she's only a freshman...)....since they really do adore each other but they have a 7 year difference between them...:upsidedow

Boys can't seem to keep their hands off of each other.....constant messing around.
You have some very interesting years ahead of you before Emily goes off to college.
Then the day comes....
I thought I was ready but it was tough.
To be quite honest, Baylor was very lonely....
He wishes that we would have a baby!:rotfl2:

Did you find the PP ornaments?

I know we are all going to be a mess when Em goes off...(can you say therapy or maybe one of the lovely nurses/NPs...MEK or Kathy can hook me up with some of that Xanax room spray...JK...kind of...)

I don't even want to think about how sad David is going to be...:confused3

David would think having a baby was cool...but Emily would think it was gross...:lmao:...I don't see another baby in my future...

I am still looking through ebay...wow...who would have thought I would get so many hits on Peter Pan ornaments...at first I forgot I wasn't on Disboards and but in PP ornaments...before I realized ebay doesn't do Dis speak...:lmao:

When I got pregnant with Baylor, Megan was in the 4th grade.
They had just viewed "the film"....
Her reaction to my news?
"Mother, how could you? Do you realize how old you will be when this baby graduates from high school?
I responded, "I'm more worried about how old I'll be when I walk him into his first day of kindergarten".

Use the word "felt" in your search...

I found them and I love them :goodvibes but $220 plus $35 shipping is a bit rich for my blood these days...:confused3...although I'm sure they are wonderful and someone will want them enough for it to be worth it to them...

(Feeling crafty?...Emily has a sewing machine...we could make some now and let them sit a couple of years..:lmao:) and we'd be in the high end collectible ornament business...:thumbsup2

When we were first married I used to collect Christopher Radko-the glass ornaments...they were lovely...:goodvibes...but I eventually sold them on ebay because I just didn't want the stress/worry of someone breaking one...I wanted to be relaxed and not worry about the tree and now with the pets and the kids (including the 1 and 4 year old niece and nephew...I'm ok with it...my tree may not be as "perfect" but it's very meaningful because we always put up ornaments from places we've traveled to that year and things the kids have made, etc.

Hmmm...but those felt PP-quite charminng and non breakable...but too $...can you imagine how I'd feel if the cat or dog got one of them...

Did you notice that the seller was in the Netherlands?

Now that's laughable, I have no talent!

I'm quite sure that your tree is beautiful....
This year I'm going to try to keep my little tree, Harper friendly! So probably no old glass ornaments.

I made them an offer..... much less than they were asking. Their price is way out of line in my opinion....

Joining in and all caught up! Geeze, there's all sorts of fun being had and I've been missing it!:headache:

Where to start?! First, sorry about al the drama with the FES. You did the right thing! Poor Baylor! That's just not right for a kid to be stressed in his home!

Next, yippppeee for all the fun clothes for adorable Harper!!! Great buys!

I love all of your wonderful disney buys! All the stocking stuffers and the ornaments! Too cute!

Of course, Happy Birthday Baylor!!! 11!! I was having a hard time with 7 this weeks! :lmao:

Your plan looks fantastic! It sounds like a great trip! I can't wait to read more!

I got a package in the mail on Saturday. Brooklynn went with me to the mailbox as we were waiting on Dawn's mom to come by and pick up that Disney toy for Margot. She was thrilled to see more Disney goodies!

I have two things to say about the package.

#1 - You don't obey me any more than my second-graders do. :upsidedow (I told you one thing and for Brooklynn.)

#2 - I loved it all. :dance3: I will be sending my notes to other teachers on new Mickey post-its. They will know who it's from before they ever look at the signature.

Oh, I guess I should add

#3 - Thank you. :)

Brooklynn wore her nails this weekend off and on. Jill showed me the picture with her goodies from their package. She said she wishes she had been filming, because Brooklynn's face was glowing! You are too kind!

Happy Birthday Baylor!!!!

How was the party?
Thanks Brook, the party was fun but the boys got a little wild.....

Welcome! I'm glad you are here!

Let me tell you it was tough for a while, but things are back to normal now and I think FES has adjusted to his new home and is doing well. So I'm glad!

Shopping is fun but Disney shopping is the best!

I'm so tickled that Brooklynn was there to help you look through your package!

I have two things to say about the package.
Uh Oh..... Here it comes.....

#1 - You don't obey me any more than my second-graders do. :upsidedow (I told you one thing and for Brooklynn.)
I think when you are among non-listeners you become like them. Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it.....

#2 - I loved it all. :dance3: I will be sending my notes to other teachers on new Mickey post-its. They will know who it's from before they ever look at the signature.
Make sure you use a dark pen, those pad are so busy that you can't see your notes!

You are so very welcome!

I'm glad Brooklynn had fun with her goodies. The nails just made me laugh, such a little girl thing to do! It's fun sending Disney to folks that enjoy it, most of my friends around here just roll their eyes.:cutie:

I was shopping Saturday afternoon online at Disneyshopping.com....
I came across some really cute shirts, just one problem, I could not get them because I am not a member of D23....
So I thought about it for a couple of minutes. Told Marc of my dilemma.....
He said, "you have a job".
Now I am a charter member of D23.

AND....
Today, 31 trading pins arrived. We had such a good time going through them!
Jackie, we have one set back for Connor.... it's a LGM!

Congrats on the membership, what a perfect solution to a shopping quandary. How fun going through the pins! I really want to order a batch for Christmas but our trip is so far away, more than one almost seems mean.
