Snow White ride...

This may sound odd but for some reason I noticed this when were in WDW this month. On the Snow White ride all the dwarfs only have 4 fingers! At first I thought it was a mistake on one of the statues but then I took notice and all of them only have 4 fingers. This may sound stupid but is there some reason for this? I know it's a lame observation but it kind of stuck with me. Anyone else notice this or have a reason?

Most cartoon/animated characters, except for the "real" people characters (ex. Princesses, Princes etc) only have 4 fingers. I'm not really sure why.

Easier/quicker/cheaper to draw.
