Does anyone know if they sell Snow White costume shoes at World of Disney, or anywhere else in WDW? I have DD's costume, but our local Disney Store did not have shoes in her size. I'm a little hesitant to order them on-line, because I've read that they run small and I'm not sure if she would be a 7/8 or 9/10. She currently wears a 7, but I've heard Disney shoes can run almost a full size smaller. I figured I would just wait for our trip, and buy them at WDW, if available.

I think I have seen them a the Big DS at DTD. Have you thought about the Red glitter shoes at Target, they would go well with the dress & your DD would more than likely love them. My DD has had 3 pairs of them :teeth:

Hi there. Like Kae said, my girls wear the red glitter (Dorothy) shoes from Target with their Snow White dresses. Since they're "real" shoes they are more comfy to walk around in too.

I had the same question about Cinderella shoes. My DD is currently measuring 9 1/2 and I hesitate to buy them without seeing them and being able to try them on her. Also, looking at the pictures I question whether or not they will be comfortable enough for her to wear at all. I love the idea about these red glitter shoes from Target - but do they come in silver by any chance?

Buy cheapie tennies, keds like, spray with red glitter spray paint..

I just bought DD Minnie shoes at the Disney Store yesterday. She actually is measuring an 11 in tennis shoes, but the 9/10 shoes at the Disney store fit her perfectly! She has a narrow foot if that makes a difference...
I definately would not recommend buying anything sight unseen/unfit with shoes... Definately love the red glitter shoes from Target and love the idea of buying Keds and spray painting them with red glitter spray paint. I'm all about the comfort! "Dress up" is one thing, but actually wearing the shoes and not being comfy in them is another. But both my DD's have worn Target red glitter shoes almost to the point that they are permanent fixtures on their feet, so they must not be that bad!!!! :sunny:

Just a little fyi-be prepared for a red glitter trail everywhere, in your house, your car, your underwear, i swear i found red glitter all over my house for years after we did the red glitter shoes...........

I bought black patent leather shoes and hot glued red bows on the toes....DD was so small she didnt know that they were not Snow White shoes. She loved them.

My DD5 has had Cinderella, Belle and Snow White shoes over the years and was never able to wear them for more than a few minutes even though they fit ok. They were so uncomfortable and hot, that she always wore something else when dressing up. When we went to WDW in January I bought her some white leather sneakers with charms on them and she wore them with her dresses. For trick or treating and Halloween parties she always wore buckle shoes. She has a wide foot, but the plastic shoes did fit, they just were too uncomfortable for any period of time.

My dd's could never wear the costume shoes either so we usually did the ked type tennis shoes.

Payless has some that are very easy to dye or spray with glitter and they come out great. They also have dyable mary janes - I did some for my dd in bright yellow with a bow once when she was minnie and they came out terrific. We have also done light blue with giltter for cinderella and red sparkle for Dorothy :) If you go the payless route its very inexpensive for a shoe that is much more comfortable than the constume shoes.

I went to Target today, and in addition to the red glitter shoes, they also had pink glitter shoes. Both colors are made by Circo.

Just wanted to thank everyone for their suggestion of the red glitter shoes at Target. I picked up a pair today, and they will look great with the dress!

It seems these shoes, made by Circo, run large. There were no 7's, so I had to choose between 6-1/2 and 7-1/2...anything larger, she was absolutely swimming in. I went with the 7-1/2, even though they, too, seemed big. The 6-1/2 fit her in the length, but her foot seemed squished width-wise.

Thanks again for all the great suggestions! This board is the best!

Yay, comfy character shoes have been found :teeth: .
Now that you have the shoes & costume, consider what she'll be wearing on her legs. I would NOT recommend tights, they always seem to creep downwards & can get awfully *hot*. If the shoes seem a bit large, just experiment with socks in varying thicknesses...thay can greatly affect the way shoes fit & take care of that "slightly big" feeling.

agnes!

We searched all over DL, DD & DCA for the royal blue snow white shoes in early August, as they had just gotten in the multi-colored sequined ones instead. The dark blue ones match the dress so much better. We finally found a pair in a shop at DCA entrance after a lot of work. Now that we are back home I found them on sale at DisneyShopping for $9.99. I don't want to confess how much we paid at the park, but I'm just glad we found them. DD3 wears a size 10 in tennis shoes, and took a L in the show white shoe. Very comfortable for her.
I haven't seen the all red glitter ones from Target yet - sound very cute. I'm glad it worked out for you!
