Ah...the Wilderness Lodge. Let me pause and soak in the pictures. The Christmas decorations just seem to "fit" there, don't they?

Yeah, the simplicity of the decorations and they were still awesome!

So both you and Glenn posted riveting updates about doing your laundry at Kidani. Do you guys plan these things or what?

Don't know about that, but it seems like we used the exact same dryers........

Glad to see Andrew got into mixing it up with the server. I had the same experience with the apple pie there. Several years ago, they cooked it properly, and it was the best restaurant apple pie I'd ever had. This past visit, it had crunchy apples. Cook it a little longer, and it's a great pie.

I think it would have been much better with softer apples too! Actually, everyone else got theirs to go, and after heating in the microwave the apples got softer and it was a little better (even though the crust wasn't as good as fresh....)

Great update, it looks like ya'll had so much fun!
I love the pictures of Drew in the horse race & doing the teapot. He is such a cutie!!!! How old is he again? I might have to play matchmaker w/Lexi in about 10 years!

He is 14 now, but still has some child left in him! He has a tuxedo rented for their 8th grade class dance so I will try to post some pictures of him all dressed up for that when the time comes......

I would have never guessed 'laundry' as the answer of what you did before dinner.

You know it's funny, I tried the Liesa trick of putting the big hint in the actual question (keep it CLEAN) and still not one person thought that one out enough to get it right! We actually ended up doing laundry again later since most of our clothes were for colder weather and other than me most everyone else had packed very few clothes for the warmer temps as the trip went along. I think I was the only one with shorts (none were yellow though...)

Yes, Laundry! And now you're making me mad reminding me it was only laundry!!!

Drew is not shy at all about joining in on things, or being the center of attention. I actually did my rendition of Tea Pot at 50s PTC. I was ratting out the Dad at the next table to the waitress who was serving both of us, so when she made him get up to sing, she made me join him for being a "tattle-tale" to my cousin!

Hmm, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, does it Marv. I'm thinking sweet Drew is a mini Marv in the making!

Being a stick in the mud and so reserved, they keep me from making us all look uptight!!! We do try to have a good time together though....

See you are going to be at OKW in a few weeks. We were supposed to be heading there in about two weeks but work has gotten in the way and had to postpone our trip. Now scheduled at SSR the week heading up to July 4th.

I never would have guessed laundry. I can think of so many other, better things to do during an afternoon at Disney. Purely speaking, of course.

I love the pictures of the Wilderness Lodge all decorated for Christmas. WCC sounds like it was fun, even if the food was too similar to Cosmic Ray's. Sometimes, I think it's a mistake to try to maximize the dining plans value. Maybe they expect all the dining plan people to order the most expensive thing on the menu and cheapen it accordingly.
