I'm pretty sure they tame it down. I know they didn't have that cannon shoot water up in the air which often hits us as we come around to start the ride.

i meant to tell you this story yesterday but forgot.

when candi and i went on our 1 year anniversary trip, we were standing by the observation area, where you can see when that water cannon shoots and it soaks the people in the boat.

well we happened to be there when some older folks where riding it, not going to name ages to affend people but they were older than our parents...and we thought it was the funniest thing when that cannon would shoot and hit them without them expecting it.

we stayed there to watch for at least 30 minutes and it was just one of those slap happy moments when you could not stop laughing at it happening.

always good fun to see people get wet.


sorry if it sounds mean, but we did laugh at the younger people getting hit as well.

Yeah, I've spent quite a bit of time and joy watching unsuspecting people get hit by spitting camels, shooting water on Splash, water shooting out of the pavement, and stuff like that! At Disney, the little things can be good for BIG laughs!!!

It was a great update. I love the photo of you and the boys on BTMR...great shot. And what's with you hiding on Splash Mountain. I'm very disappointed in you, my friend. And if you were protecting your glasses,w hy don't I see them on you in any of the pictures?????

Had a chance to go computer shopping today so finally back in business! Hope to get some work done tomorrow on some TR updates so we can get this trip moving again!

Sorry Dearie, but I have to make the updates whenever I can squeeze in some time these days! Didn't do it intentionally! As for the glasses, I often take them off when getting a close up picture to cut down on the glare in the sun, or flash in darker areas like it was in the boarding area. If you worry about me being "frightened" on a ride, we'll get together sometime and try them all out.....

So you were the young couple laughing at me !!!

Thanks everyone! Back in the computer business, but today has been a challenge as I've reloaded pictures and other files. Been running into a few challenges along the way! Then my WiFi has had a really weak signal all day, which is causing uploads and updates on PhotoBucket to be painfully slow! Haven't gotten nearly as much done today as I hoped.......
