Is it just me or does Christmas Decorations look out of place in a tropical local? I always get a grin looking at Australians walking around in beachwear with a warm weather Santa and Christmas palm tree to round out the holiday.

Agree on the warm weather Santas and Christmas palm trees! Reminds me of the Corona commercial. Thankfully it was cold enough most of the time we were there to actually still feel like Christmas.......or maybe that was just some more Disney magic at work!!!

Stop the Presses!!! The Ali-do Contest has come to a complete halt!!!


Now that I hopefully have everyone's attention I want to restart the "Where is Ali-Do" game. There are a number of reasons for this. First of all, I have been trying to tell everyone that this is more simple than everyone has been trying to make it! There aren't any tiny hidden wisps of hair or other things that there is absolutely no way to know for certain if it is Alison or not. Heck, some of you have found parts that I look at and think "I don't have a clue?"

For that reason I have made a few slight adjustments to my TR Updates. There was one particular picture that kept getting picked that WAS NOT an Ali-do sighting! I have replaced that picture now. I have also replaced one other picture. For those astute enough to recognize something new when you look through the chapters, this might be a clue and help you out some. If not, search carefully because the count may also now be changed from the original.

This is a fresh start. I will delete all PMs ASAP and for those who aren't fed up with the whole mess by now, just try one more time and remember......simple. There are possibly more challenging ones (I didn't want to make it so simple the extra earned point would be meaningless), but not as tough as some have thought so far. And NO, the correct answer is NOT zero! (and if that sounds like a double negative, that wasn't the intention)

Now for the final clue that I have been promising everyone. There are two particular things that I included in earlier chapters prior to the ones included in the contest. I put those two particular things in the TR update knowing that the Ali-do contest was coming. If you find the correct two things (could be a picture, could be a small part of the update) then finding the Ali-do's becomes much clearer and much easier! They both occur in the updates after the point we leave my Dad's house and begin the official Disney part of our trip!

I enjoyed getting caught up on your updates. Wonderful pictures on the resort decorations. I also enjoyed hearing about the Candle Light Procession. If we're able to swing a trip between Christmas and New Years I really want to catch this. Sounds like we need to go with the Cp meal deal.

Well, so far I tried to find Ali and only could come up with zero and then decided that would be very weired, so would have to do more research for which I did not find the time. So I actually very thankful to Marv for all this confusion! Might have made things much clearer for me!! Well, not much, more a tiny bit...
