I might possibly have bought the last part of this post if not for that first part.......NO GIVE ME ten POINTS FOR BEING SOOO INNOCENT !!
So even if I am wrong there has to be a bonus point for my wonderfully beleivable explanations of my guesses ooops I mean carefully thought out and researched answers !
Good Luck! It's always good to dream......Hope I do better this time!![]()
That's funny - sounds like an ominous statement from a teacher after grading papers!![]()
Yeah, I don't know WHY I didn't mention the Liesa greeting when I was discussing that "Naughty" ornament in my last updates!!!I am naughty!! But I finally figured out what's been going on lately. My silly gall bladder is what's been acting up, and I swear (NO LIE) I almost ended up in ER last night. Remember that fever, back pain, etc.... yeah, rotten gall bladder. I will call tom. for appt. This is not the first time it's been a pita. so, I've had my computer on looking up all I can about this good-for-nothing organ.

Hope the doctor gives you some good news about dealing with your gall bladder and they get it all cleared up for you! Thoughts and prayers are with you!!!
And don't go too far trying to self-diagnose; you remember where that got Rosie recently with her "slime bag" incident!![]()
Did the boys finish their Kim Possible Missions and arrive at the designated time for check-in at Tutto Italia?
Yes, they finished. Which means no, they were late getting to Tutto Italia.
Which Main Course was not ordered at Tutto Italia; Spaghetti, Lasagna, Veal Roast, Breaded Pork Chop or Ravioli?
I'll say ravioli, just because it was the one on that list that I probably wouldn't order.
How many glasses of wine were ordered with our meal at Tutto Italia?
Uh...4. 2 each for you and your wife. Any more, and you would have reeeeeeeealllllyy found the Illuminations show to be entertaining.
What type of wine was ordered?
Ripple.
Ok, being a non-drinker, I don't think I could name a single wine if my life depended on it. So I'll say it was red, because that seems like what people order in Italian places. And at least one of your sons ordered a Coke.
Who had Tiramisu for dessert at Tutto Italia?
Your dear wife. You wanted more Ripple.
Where did the boys go after we left Tutto Italia?
They left the Italy Pavilion. Duh. Oh, did you mean the destination? I dunno. I'll say Test Track.
Did DW and I manage to get seats for the Candlelight Processional?
Yes. But then the choir told you that you couldn't sit up there, so you stood in the back.
How many Disney resorts did we visit and take pictures of the Christmas trees and decorations after leaving Epcot?
Hmm. I'll say 3: Beach Club, Yacht Club and Boardwalk. Anything else would have involved too much travel between resorts/parks.
Just post your answers in the thread this time. No need for sending PMs!!!

I don't know what type they serve, I'll say the good ol 'Wine-in-a-box'

Hi
I'm Rosie friendGrace. I promise not to hold that against you Grace!

She suggustion i might get some helpful ideas from you TR for my dec 2011 trip.
I have read most of you report but not what other have posted . sorry if i repeat questions.
What is the weather like, i think of Fl as warm in dec since i like in Ohio. this will be our 1st trip not in warm weather our other where in sept 2006 and 2009,( that's where i meet Rosie) Sometimes you just have to get lucky with the timing of your trip. We were in Florida before around New Years and it was very cold (low teens at night) where they were worried about losing all of the oranges and other produce. This recent trip it was very cold the first night, but gradually warmed up enough over the next few days that I could wear shorts. I spent a lot of time watching the weather so I knew what to expect.
Please tell more about the Storytellers in epcot. I think my Gs would like seeing the different SantasNot sure what else I can tell you about the Storytellers other than what is in my report. If you want to know anything in particular I'll see if I can answer it, or probably some of the other readers might be able to give you more info. Each one of them hung around after they were done and took pictures. Helga in Germany had a large Nutcracker come out and join her near the end of her show and they took pictures with the children afterwards.
Are there place to get a picture with Santa at WDW? I'm guessing there are, but that isn't something we were looking out for. I think most things like that are probably easier to find before Christmas when they have the parade they tape for TV, and when the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party's are going on!
Have you done Mickey's Holiday Party? would like to do this not sure if it fits in the budget. Would love to but I think they are all done before Christmas and we are always there the week after when we go.
Thanks for the help I'm sure I will have more ???? later.
Grace
And like I told Grace, I'll try not to hold any of that against her.....Grace is an old Dis Friend of mine we met up at MK and watched Spectro together in 2009. Also met a few more times at Pop !! Any advice you can give her will be appreciated !!I directed her this way due to your recent update of the storytellers !!!
After saying that I'm wondering if their sales will go up or down after I reveal the results for this round.......Boy, this magic 8-ball is getting a workout on all of these questions.
Good luck with your answers! And I've got my eye out for those yellow shorts.......Happy ♥ Day !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wasn't really expecting to see the Glockenspiel and got lucky with the pictures. The only way I know the timing of it was because of the time stamps on the pictures I took!I really enjoyed your update very much even though you did things differently than I predicted!! Sorry about that! If you had only submitted some good touring plans for me up front.......
The breakfast question was mean! This was one of the things I did not have to research, but truly remembered from your PTR how wonderful your free hotel was that even included free breakfast!I was worried that might happen, which is why I kept trying to stress that we went to bed late, I set the clock later than originally planned, trying to be more relaxed and laid back, five people and one bathroom, yada yada yada........

But then I very much approve of AKL management to give you a room at the Rafiki elevator! Well done! And now I know that this truly is a desireable location! It is a really good location. Not far from the lobby, game room, laundry and bus stop. Worked great on our summer trip since you ride Rafiki down to the parking level, basically walk right across the street and you are at the pool!
I think you were similarly disappointed as me that you did have so little time between arriving at Epcot and your very early dinner that you did only get to see so few storytellers... But it looks like you truly enjoyed the ones you saw! The Julenissen sounds like fun! They have julenissen in Denmark as well, there there actually are quite a lot of them, they help Santa. Thanks for the Julenissen lesson!!!Yes, I wish I had lots more time to see them all, but hopefully there will be other trips like that! I knew I better catch the ones I really wanted to see since they wouldn't be there when we returned on our final full day.
I loved everything about what you told us about your experience in Germany - how nice of you to refer to our long German Christmas discussion. I hope Helga did not contradict anything I told you too much! But then traditions vary from family to family. But I saw on the scroll they had the story of the Tannenbaum (I am not so sure about that Martin Luther reference...) and how kids would see it on Christmas Eve when the bell is rining. No, it was really good and I don't remember any contradictions. Spent more time in Germany when we came back a few days later! Made a purchase in your and Katharina's honor that will be in a later update!
We actually have a family Christmas bell, in the picture of my Christmas tree you can see it hanging on the pillar to the right of the tree (my parents brought it with them for Christmas Eve and it has now been returned, it is one of the family heirlooms that Katharina and I can fight about one day): That sounds like a great tradition! The BELL, not the fighting over heirlooms!!!And love the picture of the tree!
Oh, and on the Glockenspiel: Since this area is als involved in Kim Possible Missions, maybe this might cause it not to appear sometimes on the full hour? Or it isn't on every full hour. I know that the Glockenspiel at the Munich City Hall only appears at 11am, 12pm and 5pm.

To the moon!!!!!!Where did the boys go after we left Tutto Italia?

3How many Disney resorts did we visit and take pictures of the Christmas trees and decorations after leaving Epcot?
I am naughty!!
My three main priorities for this trip were 1) that it be much more relaxed and flexible than our typical trip, 2) that we take in as much of the Christmas shows, decorations and atmosphere as possible, and 3) that we take FULL advantage of the DDP both in getting our $$$s worth AND taking the opportunity to try some new things instead of the standard choices. The boys understood that they could choose whatever sounded good to them, or they wanted to try for the first time, and they didnt have to base their decision on helping to keep the cost reasonable since it was prepaid, which is a new concept in our dining habits when we are at Disney. The exception I knew would be Andrew, who seldom eats, or at least finishes, larger meals especially if he knows dessert is waiting
Did the boys finish their Kim Possible Missions and arrive at the designated time for check-in at Tutto Italia?
Yeah, I think they did finish, but only because they sort of rushed through it, and maybe skipped a bit here and there. And yes, I think they made it; the possibility of missing this dinner was too scary for them!
Which Main Course was not ordered at Tutto Italia; Spaghetti, Lasagna, Veal Roast, Breaded Pork Chop or Ravioli?
Spaghetti. I imagine perhaps a side order (although, I dont' have time to confirm it by way of menu) of spag. would come with, therefore no need.
How many glasses of wine were ordered with our meal at Tutto Italia?
4- two for each of you.
What type of wine was ordered?
I'm going to have to go with a rich, red Merlot on this one. Seems to always go best with red sauce.
Who had Tiramisu for dessert at Tutto Italia?
Hmmmm.... shot in the dark here, but I"m going to say only you. You were all on dining plan so it came with. All the others ordered something else.
Where did the boys go after we left Tutto Italia?
They hit up TT, then left the park for DHS. I would have said M:S but they needed time to let dinner settle.
Did DW and I manage to get seats for the Candlelight Processional?
I don't think so.
How many Disney resorts did we visit and take pictures of the Christmas trees and decorations after leaving Epcot?
I'd say you hit up all the EPCOT area ones- YC, BW, and Beach. This was a toughy cuz you could have easily hopped the mono to those resorts. But I think you walked.

Oh, Liesa! So sorry - that is terrible! Remember low fat and no raw veggies will help, but if it gets too inflamed, you will want it out before it ruptures and poisions your body!Prayers and

HI
Thanks for anwersing my ??????
RosieWas my 1st friend here on the Dis
We had a great time watching Specto together and if my computer wasnt so OLD i post a picture of us together, I wish she could be at WDW when we go in Dec.Yes, Rosie is a hoot! She seems to be really good at leaving a lasting impression that keeps you coming back for more.
Now for some more????
Please tell more about "KIm Possible". Do you think my 5 year old grandson could do this.Oh, that's a tough one. Maybe some others with younger kids can chime in for you since mine are much older. I think he could probably do okay since the communicator talks to you, but he might need a little guidance from someone older at times to make suggestions. I saw some younger kids doing them with a little help from parents. I still think he would enjoy it for sure!
We would like to vist some of WDW resorts to see the holiday Dec. what are your favorites. You have a little while before your trip so keep reading the TR. I don't want to spoil any future updates that might be used in my contest questions.....I will definitely cover all the ones we visited as I go along, with pictures of course.
Grace
Maybe something else you could share with Maroo. I hear she is a big vegetable fan!!!Thanks, Tammie!! Low fat's not a problem. As for raw veggies..... I think I can easily (and happily) cut those out.![]()
Excellent question, but I give you at least a small pass on the mug misunderstanding as you did at least try to make amends....... As for the stripping....So, were you referring to when I stipped or stole?? Just wondering.
Hope it goes well! Saying a prayer for you.I'll know more after my appt. tomorrow. We'll see.
Well get it all taken care of so you can get back out there in front of your adoring public! Thanks, Marv. I need to do something; seems to be getting worse, not better.
