Snow, snow everywhere

We probaboly have over two feet. The news last night said this is the worst blizzard in 90 years. I am home from work today. School closed, courts closed, most business offices are closed. Stephn took my car at 3 this morning when he got called out. He works for the phone company, and probably won't be coming home at all today. I am planning on cleaning and baking and reading and Dising all day. I can't even go get something yummy for lunch. I hate snow days!

Monday night when this storm started, it was so warm we had tornado warnings too. Although this moisture is much needed, I much prefer the 70 degree days we had last week.

We have at least 3 1/2 feet and its still snowing hard in Littleton. The drifts are covering our fences. This ought to help the drought. Maybe we will be able to water this summer.

I guess Cher is stuck there with you TC she was supposed to be here tonight but postponed because they cant get out of Denver lol.


I think this was the make up concert for the make up concert before lol.

Sorry, no digital camera. I just heard on the news that the foothills (where I live) could get another foot of snow. If this doesn't put a big dent in our drought, nothing will.

Binny, I did hear that Cher was stuck here. DIA is offocially closed today, but yesterday, even though it wasn't closed, no flights were running. Thye are concerned the canapy over the main terminal (the roof is a big tent) might collapse. They have evacuated 4000 travelers to other parts of the ariport just in case.

I am sooo ready for it to stop snowing.

My 17 year old DS is 6'6"-they are throwing the snow they shovel off the driveway into a pile higher than his head! and it keeps coming! We had about 3 feet on our driveway this morning and we had shoveled mid day yesterday.
