what a fun morning and that Wave omelette sounds really really yummy right now. I accidentally did 2 hours of yoga and am starving lol!

I wish I could nap, it's a great source of disappointment to me that easy rest like that escapes me.

I would feel punch drunk walking into the MK on a whim like that, you'll never forget it I'm sure.

I usually can't nap either -- too much to do and that I want to do when the house is quiet! Breakfast was great, and reasonable for a sit down at WDW.

Come on... chores, shmores... at least that's the saying in this house! More Disney TR, please! I also liked San Angel this past trip so looking forward to hearing what you thought.

HA! Wellll the chores were SOMEWHAT fun, b/c it had a lot to do with my cruise packing and such, and that is fun!!!! But hopefully two updates will satisfy you until this evening!!!

Spare a thought for those of us on a different time zone! Been looking forward to your update and its after 9pm already! Don't want to have to wait till tomorrow!!!

I can't believe how fast you can get those updates out as well as how fast you can plan a trip to WDW.

It's starting to snow here. Only calling for a few centimetres (canadian talk) but I wish they were calling for a few feet. Then maybe I could count on school being cancelled (another teacher here) and a quick jaunt (yeah like a 25 hour drive each way if you can call that quick LOL) down to WDW.

Whenever my kids have played in that playground at HS it's been so stinkin hot that it's wierd to see your boys in their sweaters with their hoods up.

I have always fancied going to San Angel for dinner or lunch. I love the Mexico pavilion - its beautiful. Was there plenty of choice for the boys - I wasn't sure if my girls would find things they like. Might have to put that on the agenda for next time - whenever that may be!!!!

Just the atmosphere alone makes me want to try San Angel and we simply marvelled at it while riding the Gran Fiesta last summer. Thanks for the details, I think we'll try it out.

It was a nice place for dinner -- it is hard to say if we all have the same taste, etc. -- I think I am a pretty tough customer, so all I can say is that we thought it was good in comparison to the Disney restaurants overall... We are glad we went!

Just had to comment on this. Those pretzels sound yummy! I am definitely looking for those next time I'm at Target.

Your review of San Angel makes the food sound so much better. I have always wanted to eat there but have always heard bad reviews. I love the atmosphere inside of the Mexican Pavilion. It's always one of those things that stuck with me even after my visits as a child. I am definitely more interested to try San Angel after your review.

I guess it must be all about expectations??!! At anyrate it was a good meal, we enjoyed it, I would try it -- even if only for apps and a drink to get out of the sun!

I didn't realize Toluca Turkey Legs had salads (isn't listed on allears). Is it a salad with Turkey on top of it or Turkey and Mayo like tuna or chicken salad? Either way it has to be better than the Turkey Legs. My kids and fiance are big fans of Turkey Legs but I can take them or leave them so the salad option is great for me!

Yes! It is like a chopped salad I guess, with beans, lettuce veggies and turkey. Different, but flavorful.

It really does remind you of the Blue Bayou in there, I thought the same thing when we rode Donald last year. It is so so pretty! But hard to get a decent indoor shot for sure. Nice to hear such a good review, we rarely go wrong with Mexican either although the half of our group that ate at the Cantina was not at all impressed. Your dinner sounds yummy though!

I had a Puerto Rican lasagne a couple of weeks ago and they used plantains as the "noodles". It was AMAZING!

I might have to try that margarita at the new Cava which I do plan to hit this summer!

Too funny about kids running down the hall. Unless it's after bedtime or too early in the morning, I have to admit there are times when it's like fine...run, please, run!

No I agree, the Cantina isn't all that -- their menu has changed somewhat though, and while I think the kids' offering isn't as good (no more grilled chicken quesadilla) the adult new choices were actually pretty decent. I hope the renovated Cantina will have more choices!

Yes it was totally unexpected and a big surprise!!! I read your TR and wondered about San Angel, because you would think we were at totally different places... we were on the 3rd floor, but thought the set up was neat with the open areas between the 3rd and 4th floor!

Your two little "squirrels" are just the cutest. You can see what a great time they were having. What did they think of this impromptu trip? I bet all the other kids in their classes were jealous when they returned from the snow days and said they went to WDW!

Thanks! They are good boys! When we told them in the car, they were beside themselves. And yeah, they felt special. My DS7 said everyone couldn't believe he had left for florida, and to Disney!

Tell me about the AP shopping discount... you mentioned that you were surprised to find it was still valid... Isn't it valid for the whole year? I'm getting my first ever AP when we go in April so I want to plan accordingly.

Well the Holiday AP discount ends March 1st apparently.. So I am afraid you might miss it on this first go around, BUT you can take advantage of this from here on out! I think you get a 10% anyhow... the 20% was just for a few months for the holiday?

You know I am motivated to get it done before I leave Wednesday!!! Oh a few centimetres sounds so much more civilized than "gobs and gobs of snow"!!!! Hmmmm 25 hours, nah, not feeling that as a "get away"!!!!! School being cancelled was just what the doctor ordered after all that snow, and once you sled, snow play, and ski, really what else is there but to do it again and again!! And I guess once that gets old you go to Disney.

Normally I agree it is very hot (summer, etc.) it was kinda nice! a good place to warm up, but the writer's stop was perfect for that too!!!

Yes, I hear you! We have been twice, and always love it!!!! Can't wait to head back! Well I would tell you to go next time you end up in WDW! It was worth it... When in June were you there? We were in WDW last June too... The boys enjoyed Cheese quesadillas -- they had some standard fare and also a taco I think....

Oh, I just read another report about that moon pie/cookie you had. That looks fabulous! I will have to try that this summer.

The picture of your son going down the slide head first made me roll! DS did that our first trip to Disney and we about had a major fight with a CM over it. DS started down at the top and the CM yelled at him to not do that which caused DS who was 4 at the time go back in the roll of film I believe it is and would not come out. The CM turns around to everyone standing there and puts his hands up in the air and makes a face and starts complaining about him. Well, that did it! DH started on him. I had to calm him down. Then, I had to go get DS while the CM starts mouthing me. Worst experience ever! To this day, DS refuses to go to the playground. I wish I had reported the CM. He was so un-Disney. We did not let it ruin the rest of the day though and we have been back every year since!
