Snow pictures..show'em off..

:):):)
I didn't take any photos, but we got about 6 inches last night. It's very strange that the PA folks south of us got SOOO much more than we did! Usually it's the other way around. It's all good, though. I hate snow!

I know! I'm a 1/2 hr. from Philly. Here's my son with his snowman! :)

What if your DH did hurt him or worse--the kid is just dang lucky and good thing your DH doesn't have to live with hurting someone because that someone was STUPID.

That's the thing, it wasn't a young kid, DH guessed the guy was around 70 years old:scared1:!!!! Now granted, DH isn't always the best guesser of ages, but this guy is definitely old enough to know better.

I can only imagine the ride that man had in his car as it flipped on it's side. He refused treatment from the ambulance crew. I would think he would have been stiff and sore for days to come.

I grew up in Pennsylvania. I miss having that much snow. It snowed about 6" here last weekend and it almost killed us. Traffic was at a standstill and my kids didn't go back to school until Thursday! At least up north they can handle the snow. I don't remember having to many snow days when I was in school.

Well, here's mine. I am not happy about all this snow. I think we got around 28 inches. It's hard to measure because of all the wind.

My front driveway after the snow stopped for an hour, my neighbor worked on it with his snow blower. This is about two hours later when it started snowing again.

Truly beautiful and I am a little jealous. We had 2 storms back to back over Christmas putting down over a foot and we all went crazy with cabin fever. But we also had temps in the minus degrees so we couldn't take the kids out to play.
Stay warm, don't overdo it, and get that snow off your roofs!

Last night when I went to bed they were calling for 6-12 inches...think they were a little off.

From my front porch this morning (it was still snowing). I let my dog (a Jack Russell Terrier) out and she jumped off the porch and promptly got lost in the snow. She was startled. I laughed. She climbed out of the snow and peed on the porch. I guess she showed me!

Didn't get a flake here in Bergen County! I texted my coworker who lives around Wood-Bridge and she got 3 inches.

I took pictures last night when it was starting
We got somewhere around 15"
I didn't have the drive to take pre-shoveling pictures, because our whole block was out shoveling, I didn't want to seem like I wasn't contributing! :rotfl:

No pictures because I can't get it together and for some reason, every one I take just looks like blinding white!

Anyway, I lost power last night at 10:30. We.never.lose.power.ever.... I'm not sure what happened. It sounded like a transformer blew as we have no outside lines. Around 4:00 a.m. I heard the lights and smoke detectors flickering a few times. Again, that same "POW" sound. I think they were trying to fix it but it didn't work. Around 6:30, everything finally came on quickly. My house was 59 degrees and it is taking forever to warm up.

Then, I hear that our local ice rink collapsed. There were skaters inside as the beams starting twisting but everyone got out.

This storm is definitely worse than the last even though the accumulations are about the same for me--23 inches. It is much heavier snow and it is now very icy.

ROFL! My 7 pound rat terrier always pees on the porch when it snows, she HATES wet snow!!! But I'm happy that she will pee on the porch rather than sneaking somewhere in the house to do it.

We're out!! :thumbsup2

DH shoveled the sidewalk and Jeep out, then thankfully our good neighbor plowed our driveway. :goodvibes

We are praising God we never lost power, my heart goes out to all who have. :guilty:

The ole' fokes have cabin fever, it's sunny and so beautiful we've decided to take an adventurous sight seeing drive. :)

Our DD's called and are on their way back from N.C. visiting their bro who's on leave ~ hopefully at least one lane of 95 is open w/o problems.

Enjoying all your pictures, all the dogs pix are too funny, pls keep them coming! :thumbsup2
