Does snow fall on Main Street ONLY during MVMCP or does it happen at other times too?

If you can't go to the Christmas party for the snow, you can go see the Osbourne lights. They make it snow there.

We saw the new Frozen castle lighting show last night - they also spray snow in front of the stage at the end of the show.

Once the parties end on 12/19, they'll have snow after Wishes. I've been there many times for snow the week before Xmas and the week after Xmas and before NYE.

During the parties, when does it snow? early, late, during the parade, during the whole party? tia

Does it stick to the ground? Turn the ground white, footprints in the snow?

We are doing our first party and being from a snowy state I am wondering what to expect.

No it doesn't stick, its just soap suds.

Soap suds!!!! Really?

What a bummer! Glad I found out now. We live in New England where ski resorts make snow regularly. I assumed it was a real snow machine.

So, does it feel sticky/tacky?

That's disappointing.

I'm glad you asked this cause I was wondering the same thing. So can anyone answer if the soap bubbles happen the whole night or just at certain times?

It's florida.. How else would you expect them to make snow?! Lol

When I was a kid, going up in Miami, they used to bring giant piles of crushed ice to the school and that was as close to "snow" as we ever got.

Haha- I was there in early 2010, and it actually snowed. The bus drivers on the ME were SO excited about it. We had just left 8" of snowman our driveway, so we were not as excited, but glad we had brought our coats, hats, gloves, and scarves. :)

We were leaving MK as the Christmas party was starting on Friday and got to see the snow on Main Street, so it was right at the beginning. If you linger a tad you'll see it. We got out of our ADR at BoG around 6:50 and went straight to the front gate, and by the time we were at the front gate it was snowing.

You can't make snow unless it's cold enough out(I'm originally from up north) It's not sticky or tacky it's light and "melts" away fast. It's pretty though and gives a snow illusion.

They also put out signs that say "Don't be a dope and eat the soap." Kids try to catch it in their mouths.

Just so you know you are not the first to ask. Others that have come from the north had hoped they could show their southerner relatives "real" snow.

If you want cooler temps and a winter feel, head over to Gaylord Palms for ICE! http://www.marriott.com/hotel-info/mcogp-gaylord-palms-resort-and-convention-center/christmas-at-gaylord-palms/csyr9pd/ice.mi One year they did bring in real snow but they only did it once. Must have been expensive to keep adding snow every day. Snow tubing this year. http://www.marriott.com/hotel-info/mcogp-gaylord-palms-resort-and-convention-center/christmas-at-gaylord-palms/csyr9pd/snow-tubing.mi

We went last night. Between the tickets and the parking fee I thought it wasn't worth it. It's lovely, but it's very expensive. They also claim to have coats in all sizes, but that's all sizes for the five bad over crowd.
