This has been a really weird winter. Warm temps, not much snow (I think only like 25 inches). But it sounds like the big one is coming!! They are predicting 10+ inches of snow (something we haven't gotten around here in quite some time). I hope we get snowed in!!!

I know, I know, beat me over the head with a 2x4 if you want to. I don't want it to last, if it were up to me, it would be gone in a week. I just like the big storms!

Geez, no one cares!!! I bet someone might care if I say Jim Cantore is in my neighborhood (even though that would never happen!).

This weather has been so strange, 54 here today in S. Jersey, come Friday the real cold weather is coming in. The Artic air is going to hit us hard, they are also watching a major snow storm coming in here on Tuesday. I am wondering if that is the one you are going to get? Bring it on! :thumbsup2

50 lashes with a wet noodle for the both of you! ;) I don't want no stinking snow. :furious:

Yeah, it was about 35 here yesterday. By Friday the high will be 10. I don't like that part of it!

It has been probably 15 years since we got a major storm here.

Where abouts are you?

I'm in Vermont and we missed the last Nor'Easter that hit NYC and I'll die if another on is coming early next week and we miss it again.

I never thought I'd see the day where I say "Think I'll move South so I can have some snow in the winter  "

I love snow so these past two winters have been awful here in Northern VT.

I think you are right, Deb. No one wants to hear about us poor Midwesterners!

We were talking about this at work earlier this week and we feel the same way. We are ok with it coming on the weekend, don't disrupt as much work or school that way, but we would really like one really big snowfall this winter.

I know exactly what you mean.

I'm with you guys BRING IT ON! We have not had a good snowstorm in a long time. Unfortunately in our area they are still being wishy washy with the forecast. I would love a stay at home, watch the snow come down, bake cookies kind of day.

Atleast you are looking at snow from this. I am in the line for freezing rain tonight, freezing rain tomarrow and thunderstorms friday. Then a low of 2 on sat. But hey two counties away are expecting 6 inches of snow overnight! I would rather have the snow! Lets hope they are wrong!!!!

Well, I hope you get a good 1-2 feet of snow. :woohoo:

Personally, I'm hoping we don't have anything forcasted her b/c we're supposed to head to Maine. DH can't leave the area if there's snow expected and we'd love to get to visit family before his surgery.

We actually have less snowfall during the entire season than NYC got this past weekend. My brother and his gf were snowed in at her parents in Chinatown. I had to laugh b/c we literally got like 2-3 inches of snow. :rotfl2:

We got about 3 inches here yesterday.

Supposed to get another 1-3 inches tonite.

Tomorrow (thurs) we are supposed to have "blizzard like conditions" with up to 12 inches forecasted.

More snow on Fri and Sat with high temps only in the teens!

I am in northern MI. Not the U.P. but up near the pinkie finger on the mitten. :)

I am ready for it to stop.

Have fun with the snow! Please send it here after it hits you!!! I'm sick of this warm weather. We've gotten plenty of rain, but all that does is give me headaches. I want to go cross country skiing so badly, but haven't been able to yet. We did get around a foot with that nor'easter last weekend, but that's not enough. It's all melting :sad2:

I just read the weather report and it was suppose to drop into the 20's, but now it warmed up today, so Milwaukee is predicting rain/sleet. I live in the middle between Green Bay and Milwaukee, so we will probably get 2-3 inches, just enough NOT to cancel school.
