Snow for Christmas? 6" for MO starting tonight!

Snow!!!??? In MO for Christmas...6yo dd has never had snow on Christmas...yea!
But we have to drive over to SIL for Christmas Eve, um that will be a mess.
I don't know the last time we had snow for Christmas.
So how about you?

No snow here in FL. But when I lived in NJ I used to love it as long as we weren't driving anywhere.

mother & 2 brothers are supposingly coming - may need to postpone till Jan 4th

Here in South PA they are forcasting snow beginning Christmas Eve until early afternoon Christmas Day. Not sure of amounts, but calling for heavy snow. I am so excited!!!! It would be perfect.

I'm right across the river from you Mystery Machine. Sounds like it might get interesting tonight and tomorrow. My kids have never seen a white christmas either.

Today it is in the high 60', tomorrow high 60's or low 70's. Rain is suppose to start moving in tomorrow and clearing out by Christmas Day. The temp on Christmas Day is suppose to be around 59. So, no snow here on Christmas Day.

Well, it started snowing this morning!! It will be our first white Christmas since 1998! They are predicting around 8 inches today, which is a little too much, our town is NOT equipped at all for that much snow! I didn't even bring a coat to work either My poor little car is already buried, I may need to borrow an ice scraper to tackle my windshield when I get ready to leave! It sure is pretty though!

we are supposed to get a Nor'easter Christmas day, which means DH will be out plowing most of the day and through the night

Here in central Missouri they are calling for 1-3 inches. Hopefully it will be just enough to make things white but keep the roads safe and clear.

Hey Pooh93, I must be pretty close to you! I'm just across the river too. My daughter is so excited about snow. She has the sled ready. And Santa's bringing a new super duper stearable sled with brakes. I just hope she doesn't hurt herself on it! She's not into using brakes. She likes to go fast!

Now, if only I didn't have to work out in it tonight and tomorrow night.

No snow here. It will be too warm. It would be nice to have a white Christmas, though. Next year we plan on being in the mountains. There is sure to be snow then, right?
