Welcome!!! So glad to see someone is actually reading my thread!
It is great that so many DISboarder are going at the same time. I will have to keep my eyes peeled to see if I can find anyone.

Brittany - You CAN do it! Hubby was a little nervous, too. But now he has some wonderful memories of that place! They also have so very delicious food!

Wanted to add some Disney shirts that we bought for DS-Jay yesterday.

Jay is soooo excited about his shirts!
We also got some swimsuits for Kay, but I have to take one of them back because it was a tankini and the top fit okay, but the bottoms were a little large. Don't want her bottoms falling off while she swims. That wouldn't be good!

Up next memories of Sci-Fi Theater circa 2009. We don't have ADR for it this year, but have a funny melt down story about DS. Aaaah! The memories!
Should have named my thread Memory Lane. It is definitely doing the trick to get DD and I excited about our upcoming trip, though!

I think that is awesome that you made some shirts and even more fabulous that you went over board and made too many! Would really enjoy seeing a picture of your shirts! (wink wink, hint-hint)

Ok,I was able to snap a few photos of some of the shirts.I was way ahead and had them all packed already,lol.These are a few of my younger 2 daughter's shirts,they have many more.I told them we can go cool off at the hotel and change clothes sometimes,then we can use them all!!

Shera - Lovin' those shirts!!! Did you come up with the designs yourself? Are they appliques? DD and I were in t-shirt heaven while viewing them.
Good idea about "freshening up" so everyone can wear all of their shirts. I am sure it will start getting hot by May/June in Orlando.

thanks,they are iron on transfers,very easy to do .Some of them I designed myself ,others I got here on the dis boards from the creative disign thread.I then added the names/dates to them.Is it May yet,lol.The waiting is killing me!!

Since, I have been going down memory lane on this pre-trip report. I thought I would add our stayed at POFQ on our 2009 visit and Jay's very first experience of WDW.
I decided to share some cute pics before I tell the story of Jay's first melt down at the Sci-Fi Theater.

The entrance to the lobby of POFQ - There was this cool fountain right when you walk in and the doormen give you coins to throw in it. SOOO COOL! (unfortunately, I didn't take a pic of the fountain)

The next two pictures really get me EXCITED about going to Disney!

Just loving the PTR, and guess what you found another person going to WDW the same time you are. May 29-June 3. We also planned around the fact that Liam is getting off off school on May 27 (His birthday is May 25th so we are celebrating his birthday.) And am hoping that the two days they had off during that really bad blizzard doesn't change the dates.

There seems to be quite a few of us in here are going at the same time with MK for the 29th, Epcot for the 30th, and DHS for the 31st. Can anyone say huge dismeet.

Can't wait to read more. We went to SciFi Dine In in Sept of 2009 so your upcoming post is sure to bring back some memories.

Yes, quite a few are going Memorial Day weekend thru June 3. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for everyone! I took a look at your PTR and it looks great. So nice for you to celebrate your sons bday at WDW. I am sure it will create many wonderful memories.

As you can tell, I absolutely fell in love with this resort. I sure hope I feel the same way about CBR.

I am Kay's Girl Scout Troops Co-Leader/Cookie Manager this year and have been extremely busy with that. I also have some other things to add with our order of Disney pins and my hubby's new collection of dreams - Vinylmation! I will take some pics of that too to add to my thread.

Cannot wait until all of this hoopla is over and I can focus on our upcoming vacation!!

I really like your memory posts! I love walks down memory lane! We loved both 50's PTC and Sci-Fi. My DD would go to both every trip if she could!

Oh I can relate! My DD is a girl scout and we just finished up our cookie sales! I was getting pretty sick of looking at cookies!!!
