Snow DAY...it's 6 below this morning!!!!!

No school today here. It was 6 below this morning. My dh left for a minister conference and so I'm stuck, here, in the house, all day and night, with 3 kids. The baby isn't so bad but my 4 & 6 yo are going to drive me crazy. I suppose I could just let them watch TV ALL DAY~~~they would love that!

We had snow days 2 days last week (we had less than an inch of snow, btw ). I think the lowest it got was 2 degrees though.

My 9 yo and my 6 yo about drove me batty. And I was only home with them 1 of the 2 days. I was more than happy to drop them off at school this morning.

It's been in the 50s and 60s here all weekend, and should be in the 60s today. But we need snow. Send it our way!!!!

My kids wish they could get a snow day due to low temps. If the busses are running, they have school. It is MIGHTY cold at that bus stop at 7 a.m. tho.... -1 today at the time DD left.
Keep warm...at least it's beginning to stay light out a little longer each day!

It's six below in our town (just up the road from Pembo), but they are having school despite the weather. I think that we have a very limited supply of snow days this year due to school construction and a late start to the school year. Our kids got all bundled up and waited until the very last minute to head out to the bus stop. Fortunately for them, it's a stones throw from our house.

We were about 5 below today--the coldest day since Dec. 2000--but not even a delay. However, DD#1 has a stomach virus so I had to go into work (!!) and get all my lesson plans out, etc., then come home. DH then took DD#2 to school and DS to preschool and I'm going to pick him up shortly.
We are expecting 2-4" of snow tomorrow evening so I'm hoping we might get a day off Wednesday. We have 3 left.

It was -7 when I had to take my mother for her consultation with the oncologist. They didn't cancel the schools here, though.

tuffcookie-I bet your ds was disappointed. Alot of the schools in around you are off! I'm not exactly sure why they called off. I'm guessing the cold but most of our kids are bussed.

So far the day is alright.....the dog is driving me crazy though!
