If you go to Florida for 3 months can you post on the Trip board? Well, I'll try and will continue to do so until I'm kicked out or told to move. I may get kicked out by probably offending lots of people (will do so without regard to race or creed or color or religion or politics or lifestyle or nationality or one of those other things that tend to really get people fired up).
After spending aholotta years fighting cold and snow in Michigan we decided to spend the worst of winter in sunny Orlando. Based on recent events in the Midwest this appears to be an excellant decision. Our plan was to become seasonal castmembers but since WDW is suffering along with other sectors of the economy thats not going to happen. Instead we bought our annual passes and became those people you see and think- geez those people need to get a life. Weve been here two weeks now and have been to the parks twice mostly to people watch and see/do a select attraction(s).
My report #1 will offer some observations that are relavant only to me.
1. Why do people rent strollers when their kids are way to big for them. I mean if your 11 year old is to tired to walk anymore maybe its time to leave the park for a while. GMAB
2. Whats the deal with people my age[60+] (especially ladies) getting tatoos. Don't tell me that you've had them for years cause u haven't. The reds are still red and not pink and Johnny Depp still looks like himself rather than Mr Ed.
3.The seagulls at the outdoor Mexican place are way to aggressive .We watched them swoop down and take food off trays while people were walking and couldn't shoo them off. The Ibis are sort of cute but the seagulls are a pain. We have passive seagulls in Michigan- the WDW ones are on steroids or 5 hour energy or something.
4. FGS- if you got a little kid quit smoking. Even though I see alot fewer people smoking outside of the designated areas I can't fathom why you would take your kids back there with you. They get your smoke and everybody elses. Let them get kidnapped- maybe it will be a non-smoker.
5. We watched the Mariachi band in Mexico, they have really improved or I had not seen them for awhile, they were really enjoyable. Dos Equis and Margaritas are still good, and always taste better at Disney.
6. Anothert day while at the MK we watched the Flag Retreat- this was not the first time I've seen this but I think its really neat that WDW does this. If you have not seen this you should do so.
Enough for today.:scratchin

Hi Bill

You are welcome to the DIS board.

You won't get too flamed for some of the comments.

I want to be a snowbird too one day.

I think it is a good idea to leave the park and take breaks, but kids also don't get the exercise that they should and the walk gets to them.

2. 60 yr old ladies with tatoo's-I'm not a fan of anyone having a tatoo.
