I am DD age 12 and i would like to know what is the best snorkeling place for someone my age to go. We are trying to decide whether to go on Castaway Cay or on one of the other islands. Thanks for your help!

Come on 10-2-04 cruise!! ::MinnieMo

I would think ANY snorkeling trip would be great regardless of your age. The only place where age comes into the picture is how strong a swimmer you are.

If you're not a strong swimmer, then you might want to snorkel in one of the protected coves where you are not exposed to the waves of the ocean.

On an Eastern cruise, the kayak/snorkel trip was fun and was in a sheltered cove, and of course the snorkel lagoon on CC is also protected.

If you do a lot of swimming, then just look for the snorkel excursion that sounds like the most fun.

We did the Trunk Bay Beach & Snorkle excursion on the 2/21 Eastern and loved it. It was easy to snorkle, lots to see, plus a beautiful beach if/when you get tired .

I would highly recommend Captain Nauticas snorkling trip while in St. Thomas. I believe it is the only excursion where you get to go to 2 different snorkling spots, both in St John. They were both unbelievably beautiful!
