A deviated septum (I have a partial) shouldnt have any effect. Theres a few factors that come into play with a mask fogging.
1. If the lense is dirty, such as the film from manufacture, or repeated applications of commercial or home made defog
2. The outside temp vs the temp of the air in the mask
3. Breathing out of your nose. Some people will do this unconsciously with out knowing they do it.
