Just thought I'd share with my Dis loving friends. I saw today SniqueAway (a company of tripadvisor) has a deal on the Hilton Bonnet Creek. I think you have to book this week, not sure what other restrictions there are.

I think Sniqueaway kind of like groupon for travel.

Hope this can help someone!

(I also posted this over on the Orlando Hotels forum.)

She gets a $25 credit when someone she refers makes a purchase. Pretty sweet. But referrals aren't allowed on the disboards so the op might want to correct that link.

I just came home after quickly posting that and then leaving. As I pulled up this thread I was thinking the same thing.

I don't care about any referrals - just wanted to share the sale. :wizard:

I booked this hotel last night @ $155 p/n for an upcoming trip. Hotel has all great reviews. I can't wait to go.

So what do you get for referring?

It is NOT a referral. The OP did *not* leave her e-mail address for people to use as a referral. If you want to join, click on "I want to join" to request a referral. It will *not* benefit the OP in any way.

And if I seem a little touchy on the subject, yeah I am. In my first couple of months here I posted a link that I absolutely did NOT know was a "referral link". When I was informed, I politely thanked the moderator for removing the link and explained I had not realized. The link showed personal information and I sure did NOT intentionally do that!

Even so, I was *awarded* an infraction. Yes, I am completely ticked off at the unfairness 9-10 months later. :headache:

The OP changed the link in her post. The original post had a referral link in it. She realized the mistake and took care of it by editing the link. Read her second post in this thread. Problem was solved a long time ago. :)

After reading your reply just now, I checked the date/time the OP edited her post and yes, she did edit it last a few days ago.

Strangely enough, at the time I posted tonight I saw her second message and wondered why she said she corrected the link - but hadn't. At the time I wrote the above quoted, the link had not been changed! When I clicked on it tonight that link specifically stated you could only join by a referal, and offered the option of selecting a "referal", which then required their e-mail address. OR selecting "I want to join" to request a referral sent to you.

Now when I click on the OP's link, it's a completely different webpage! And I have never come across that site before until this thread. Very weird...

In any case, her 1st link (which somehow I was able to access tonight) was still *not* a referal link. Not unless it actually took you to a page with her information embedded in it, OR unless she supplied people with her e-mail address to use as a referral. Without that, she did nothing wrong.
