I once had a retail job. The manager (we'll call him "Dave") and assistant manager ("Joan"), were both a problem. I still see some old co-workers, so even after I quit, I hear things. Dave was a chronic liar, to us, to regional management, customers, even his family. Joan was ok at first but started giving everyone an attitude, and was the type to stand around and do nothing while giving more work to others. Supposedly she and Dave had something going. She actually came on to me, but I wasn't interested. That's when she started acting weird towards me. (I'm adverse to dating coworkers, but I've also seen how she behaves with other employees and I didn't care for it.)
Here comes the Jerry Springer part:
Meanwhile, Dave was dating a girl who worked at another location of the same chain, but lied that she was not an employee with the company. She was also now pregnant, but he goes off to have another fling with yet another employee. Not long after his daughter is born (his second child, he has another kid in another state too), he comes home to tell his girlfriend that it's over, and he's met someone else- and she's pregnant as well. Dave even has a gay step brother and took great pleasure in tormenting him for his sexual preference as well. There's more I can say about Dave but none of it is good.
Dave and Joan were both eventually fired. Dave was up to many bad things, including altering payroll. He's since been working at a gas station, and still does, while I've moved on to much better and higher paying work. Dave has since even lied to people about being shot while working at the gas station, but there's no police/medical reports.
Joan went down a worse path, involving drugs. I still don't care for Dave, but Joan I've long ago dropped any ill-will towards, especially as she was being manipulated by Dave back then.
