Sneaking alcohol into MK

My personal feeling is that if you're dispensing your beverage in the bathroom, that should be a message that something is wrong with the situation.

:thumbsup2

I'm sure it tastes better there. ;)

Qiute frankly, if you can't manage to spend a day at the MK and not have a drink, your a *ALCOHOLIC*......I suggest your friend gets thier act together and/or get help.

the bottom line is if you can't go without a drink for a day, you have a problem!

If he's going to be DRUNK, I wouldn't want him around my kids, regardless of sneaking the alcohol, buying it in a restaurant or whatever.

If he's going to be intoxicated, there's a bigger issue than a flask of alcohol snuck into the MK.

But, if you cannot spend a day at the Magic Kingdom w/o drinking you have a problem and need to seek help.

Help, my life just won't function correctly unless I intoxicate it with alcohol. I cannot have fun any other way.

Typical DIS. There is NO middle ground. You are either a 100% sober non-drinker, OR, you are an alcoholic that needs professional help.

Sheeeeeeesh.......

So I'm curious. For those of you dispensing your beverage in the bathroom, do you actually do that in the stall?

Don't be ridiculous. The changing table is an excellent makeshift bar.

Ladies, your husbands don't have the runs. It's MK happy hour.

Must be talking about the same malfeasants who would stoop to putting a wad of paper towels in their kid's shoes so they'd make the 40" mark and thereby putting their innocent little lives in danger while morally corrupting them forever. No wonder why they are doing it - they're intoxicated on smuggled booze!

Shame on all of you. Shame Shame Shame.

LOL! Silly me. And to think I was worried about exposing one's self to germs in the stall! :lmao:

Whoops. I accidentally spilled one of the "other" secrets of the men's rooms. I never meant to acknowledge that there are changing tables in there. Sorry, guys.

(As far as the first page) This went from, what will happen if we get caught with a flask to, what's the best type of vodka to sneak in :confused3

Who would put a wad of paper towels in thier kids shoes just to make them hit the 40 inch mark? Doesn't even make sense.

The guy is probably going to drink regardless. Your real question is if he is an ****** when he drinks or is he doing to drink too much. If not, no one will notice or care.

I mentioned how I might enjoy a little scotch while at the parks only as an example of doing so responsibly. I have not "been drunk" in over 30 years. I don't drink to get drunk, I do it because I enjoy the taste of what I drink. I am discreet in the way I do it as an example of the fact that it can be done discreetly.

I can tour the place for a week without any alchohol easily. However I am on vacation and therefore see nothing wrong with it at all.

To all who think it should not be done, then don't do it. To any who think it's okay and do it the do it responsibly.

Simple as that.

Bob NC puts it best, there is no middle ground at all around here. If someone suggests something that is not in line with others beliefs, then they are wrong. You guys must be a real treat on vacation, telling everyone that will listen what they are doing wrong because they don't adhere to your thoughts on how things should be done.

Well, I think the point here (aside from the posts about alcoholism which is not what is being discussed, although it ALWAYS comes up in any discussion of the MK's alcohol policy) is that alcohol is not sold in the MK. Actually you are not allowed to bring your own alcohol into ANY Disney theme park, even the ones that sell it. If you're caught with it it will at the bare minimum be confiscated. If you argue with whoever catches you or raise a fuss I would think you risk expulsion from the park. That won't make for a fun day at the happiest place on earth for the party or their children. Not sure it matters WHY the guy wants to bring it into the park.

Not sure what the argument about whether or not people should drink alcohol at all is about.

I'm telling you, it's cheating on height requirements that is a gateway activity to other, more serious violations of public order like sneaking a flask into the Magic Kingdom. Shame, shame, shame.

(And if you can't tell that I'm being sarcastic.............)

*burp* "oh looky! it's moosey mick!, mucky moose, er.. i mean mickey mouse!"

"Sir that's a lamp post..."

Yes back OT.

What happens when/if he is caught is mostly how he reacts to the situation of being caught. It could escalate up to him being removed not only from the park but all of WDW property. As in please leave the resort you are staying in and take your family with you and never come back. Not sure if the OP would get caught up in the mess if on the same reservation.
