sneaker alternatives?croc flip flops???

I'm thinking about not wear sneakers the whole week for our January trip. I usually always wear them since I don't have anything better for comfort and support. Thinking about doing croc flip clops this time. Any thoughts on the croc flip flops??? They look cute and comfortaqble. I think>

I love my Crocs Athens but they didn't do so well for me in Disney this year. I wear them ALL the time and have worn them for other long walking days...but for some reason they rubbed the bottom of my heel at Disney. I like wearing Teva Mush flip flops much better. They work better for me. Remember that everyone's feet are different and I'm sure many people will say they wear them without problem. Always better to have several different shoe options with you...just in case.

I have a pair of sandals from the brand Chacos. I got them from Zappos I think - had never tried them on in a store. They have a super comfortable arch, and I can wear them all day every day at WDW. I forget the specific style, but I recommend searching for the Chacos. What I liked about Zappos is that they will ship them to you free, so you can try them on, and returns ship free as well. I got 3 pairs, kept 2, returned one. It's something they spend money on that I think pays off for them! It's easier than going to a store sometimes.

Anyway, also it can be chilly in Orlando in January. So, I'd also bring some shoes that you can wear with socks. Especially at night!

I love my Crocs flip flops and wore them for a few days at WDW last December. But, some days it would have been too cold to wear them all day or at night. Bring the flip flops and sneakers/another pair of shoes. I've been in January years ago and don't remember wearing shorts or flip flops then (it was a long weekend trip).

For flip flops- I like Teva Mush.

Just an FYI, I went in Jan last year and it got cold. Bring an alternative just incase! I ended up wearing a pair of privo and ecco shoes all week.

I wore my Crocs Athens on the our last two trips and they were great! No achy legs or sore feet like I have had every other trip with my sneakers! I do agree with the others, though, that it may be chilly in Jan.

Love my Crocs flip flops! We are park commandos, and they are the best footwear I've tried. My only complaint is that they do rub the tops of my feet. I've tried a couple of different styles with the same result. My DD also wears the Crocs flip flops, but does not have this problem. I guess I just have weird shaped feet! I just put band-aids on the spots, and I'm good to go. Going forward I'll be using moleskin to combat the problem. Even though they rub the tops of my feet, I'll keep wearing them b/c I have never left the parks with sore feet and calves.

For warmer temps I take my TEVA sandles. They are lightweight but allow my feet to breath. They have great support and cushion. I walked around Epcot all day in them and was very comfortable.

I go between my rubber flip flops and maybe a pair of black sketchers. They are not true sneakers, they are open on top with straps, but they do the job!

That's me, too! The crocs flipflops are comfy on the bottom of my feet, but that's it... in between the toes and on the top they're just too big. I've done my regular Old Navy flipflops (the kind I wear all summer) at WDW without issue, but my feet are very used to them. I guess whatever you choose, just make sure they're not new.
