Snacks/water into parks?

Does Universal allow outside snacks and bottled water to be brought into the parks as Disney does?

Yes. I don't know about coolers though. We bring our own refillable water bottles that are already filled before we enter Citywalk.

As long as you aren't bringing in a giant, hard, and/or wheeled cooler...snacks & drinks are fine. I have heard of drink bans during certain events, but not on regular days.
