Hi all,

We are going to DLP over the New Year period, this will be our 2nd visit to date. Last time we wish we had taken some snacks with us to fill up at lunch time as we were having a big breakie and dinner and didn't always fancy a big lunch. Do you have any suggestions for things we could take to keep us going - we are happy to return to our room for snacks so really just need things that will be easy to pack as we are flying out and also things that will keep us warm!

Hope you can help,
Nichola

We usually take some cereal bars ie. Trackers, Harvest, Alpen as they tend to fill a gap plus they don't take up much room. Sometimes if we don't fancy a meal we just have one of the delicious muffins/cookies with a drink. The hot chocolate is lovely. :goodvibes

And the donuts :goodvibes ~ don't get me started. ;)

I could die for the cookies.

We sometimes take some cup noodls as a lunch snack with us or other convenience foods you only need to add hot water to, but these do need some space in your suitcase. ANd you have to get an electric kettle from the reception. SO I don't know if that's a solution for you...

Oh don't! I'm completely lost when I go into the cable car bake shop. I end up buying too much and carrying cookies around in my bag!!!!

We like trail mix (nuts and dried fruit) and energy bars (PowerBar, Clif Bar).

I would take some nut based cereal bars like the Harvest ones

Packet soups (with croutons) are very light to take. Take a flask filled with hot water and just make up when you need to. Fab in the cold too.

Have a great trip.
