Snacks and Main Street Confectionary

I have heard that you can use your snack credits to buy candy and fudge at the Main Street Confectionary? Is that true? Last year, we ended up not using a great deal of the snack credits, however this would great if it were true.
Are snack credits denoted anywhere in the shop?

We used them there on out trip in November. We were told anything under 4 dollars could be purchased with one credit. You could not combine credit for more expensive item.

We bought a small bag of taffy at $2.85 I believe....a GREAT value because you can pack as much in as possible. When you pay for it, you can let it spill into a Disney bag so you don't have to close the top. Last time my DH squeezed over 100 pieces into it! We could enjoy it when we got home from our trip!

We used our snack credits there last month. Got fudge and peanut brittle and mickey shaped cookies.
